Happy Friday! Today, I have an adorable shaped mini that's all about fun in the kitchen. It's a recipe scrapbook that's in the shape of a little oven. So cute! It's filled with recipe cards and fun pages for photos and journaling.
I designed this mini with Doodlebug's Made With Love Collection and created the 6.25" x 7" album using a Doodlebug cutting file. The album covers are made from high quality white acrylic and I just love the little handle, the enamel dot sprinkles for knobs, and that sweet smiling face. Oh my goodness ... these shaped albums are so much FUN to make!
Inside, there are 12 white cardstock pages that include lots of pretty papers, flippies, folding pages and pockets. There's plenty of room for photos of friends and family, cooking, baking and enjoying yummy foods together. Check out the sweet "All you knead is love" folding page and flippie above! 💗
I didn't add just 1 pocket to this awesome mini ... I added three!! And they have cute cards in them for journaling, notes, shopping lists, extra photos or your own recipe cards or clippings.
I love all the pretty colors in this collection. They're bright and cheerful and go perfectly with all the happy faces and sweet sayings in this scrapbook.
On this page, I've included a pretty scalloped photo mat. Add pictures of your beautiful cupcakes, a cooking buddy, or the person that created your favorite recipe. What a great way to connect memories with the food you make.
Wouldn't this album make a great handmade gift for a baker, a
cook, your mom, grandmother, sister, or friend? Who knew a
recipe album could be this cute? It would be perfect for a birthday, mother's day, or thoughtful hostess gift during the Easter holiday.
I've included 18 coordinating recipe cards that are part of the Made With Love collection. They are perfect for this scrapbook. If you're giving this as a gift, add a few of your family's recipes or leave them all blank for the recipient to fill out.
I hope you love my new Oven Shaped Recipe Album as much as I do. It's pretty special and so unique.
UPDATE: If you would like to make a similar project, and you have a cutting machine (Silhouette Cameo, Cricut, etc.) you can purchase the oven cutting file from the links below. Although I cut mine from acrylic, you could easily use white card stock. The digital instructions will be available in my shop soon.
