Book Nerd Journal Scrapbook Album

Hello my friends! Today’s album is a new theme for me and I absolutely love it! Do you love to read? Are you in a book club? Do you work in a book store, library, or are you a teacher? Perhaps you write books, collect them, have children who are avid readers, or just want to start reading more? Are you a book nerd? I am!

I designed this with the PhotoPlay Notting Hill Collection and a red 6x8 inch Simple Stories binder. It's a part reading journal / part scrapbook, but it can be one or the other based on your needs.

 

I designed several fun journaling cards for documenting favorite books, favorite authors, and books you want to remember to read. 

 

There is a monthly tracker if you want to read more and like to check off boxes (me! although I may color in my boxes with colorful markers)! 

 

 

There is a review page for recording book titles and authors — and then you can give the book your own 5-star review … or one star if the book was a snoozer. 😉

 

I included a pocket in the album that will be a fun spot for saving your book summaries. You can print as many of these as you need and save notes on the books you read (so helpful for my menopausal brain fog). These are also great if you’re in a book club! Take your Book Nerd album to your next club meeting and impress your friends with your fun way to stay organized! 

 

This album would also be a thoughtful gift for a friend or family member who loves to read, or an older student who loves book challenges or literature. 

 

 

Now what Artsy Album would be complete without places for photos?  None of course!  So I added mats for pictures of your favorite book covers, reading nook, or coffee shop for reading. You can add photos of the kiddos at the library, your messy bookshelf, and all of your book club friends.  Add a selfie of you and your favorite book, an author at a book signing, or a special person that inspired you to read.

 

As someone who has loved reading since I was a child (huge Nancy Drew fan here!), I’m super excited about this album.  Whether you’re an avid reader, or someone who would like to read more, I hope this fun project inspires you!
