Down on the Farm Mini Album with Doodlebug

Hey friends! When you look up the word 'cute' in the dictionary, it should have a picture of the entire Doodlebug, Down on the Farm collection next to it. I mean seriously, there is nothing about this line that isn't just completely adorable!

I had so much fun creating this barn-shaped mini album and I just couldn't wait to share it with you!  I used the Doodlebug barn cutting file (see link below), and modified it a bit so that the album would fit across the bottom.  That sweet little title banner above the barn door is from the chit chat pieces, and the other darling die cuts are odds & ends.

I just love the new 3x4 cards ... they are perfect for the front of this flip-up card (above) and for tucking into a pocket (below).

There are so many precious new Doodlepops, but my favorite might be the Hen and Chicks, with the worm, lol! So cute!

Remember the newly released tiny heart sprinkles?  You'll find them scattered throughout the album too.

Easter Card & Basket - Lori Whitlock March Blog Hop

Hi crafty friends, welcome to Lori Whitlock's March Blog Hop. My blog is the first stop on the hop, so be sure to hop back over to Lori's site too for more great products and ideas!

For my project, I created an adorable gift set for Easter using two of Lori's great cutting files. The basket is called Easter Basket 9 and the card is called
Pop Up Box Card Bunny Egg (links below).

This basket is darling and really easy to put together. Fill it with some Easter grass and tuck in a little gift card for a friend, candy for a sweetie or a small toy for a little one. So CUTE!

All of Lori's folding pop out cards are fun. I just love the bunny peaking out from behind the egg! Pair this sweet card with the little basket and you've made a great gift in no time!

Oh, and the pattern paper is from Echo Park's Celebrate Spring Collection. If you don't have this collection, a really pretty substitute would be Echo Park's Welcome Spring or Welcome Easter (links below). Both have great colors and really cute patterns.

Thank you so much for hopping with us!

My Crafty Adventures with Simple Stories

Hi crafty friends!  I'm so happy to be back as part of the Simple Stories 2018 creative team!  I'm up on their blog today with a pocket album that's all about my crafty adventures ...  creative retreats, scrapbook time with friends, and CHA visits.  Their new Crafty Girl collection was perfect for documenting these fun memories!
I used a 6x8 pocket for the first page and added a 4x6 element card to the front of a fold out.  Inside the card, is a photo from my first trip to the summer Craft & Hobby Association convention.
I love that Simple Stories makes the 6x8 paper pad for most of their collections.  I used one of the pages from the pad for the title page below.  I like how it breaks up the smaller spaces throughout the album.

There are so many cute embellishments with Crafty Girl!  I like layering them right over the pocket edges.  The cute camera above is a chipboard sticker and the adorable little journaling spot is from the bits and pieces.
Have you noticed that the tab stickers fit right on the chipboard tabs in your snap albums?  How fun is that?

I know all of you crafty girls are loving this colorful new collection!  Have fun...and be sure to document your crafty adventures.

Our Day at the Zoo Scrapbook Mini Album Kit, Bella Blvd

Just hopping on the blog this afternoon to share a mini album I created this past weekend.  I was in the mood to play with some cute paper and embellishments and The Zoo Crew by Bella Blvd fit the bill.
The album is 6x8 inches.  I used heavy white chipboard for the covers and made the inside pages using card stock.

I love using a mixture of die cuts and chipboard pieces in my projects.  These little zoo animals are so cute!

Thanks for stopping by to check out my latest mini!

Be sure to check out my shop to see more great handmade items. Until then, happy crafting!

Easter Mini Album with Doodlebug Designs

Hey guys! I'm excited to share a super cute mini that I made using some of my favorite Easter and spring collections AND the fabulous Abigail alpha stickers! Such a fun project to create and it uses a mix and match of adorable Doodlebug supplies.

I used white chipboard for my covers and layered on some pistachio card stock, colorful pattern paper and those pretty colored Abigail letters for my title (links below).

Most of the die cuts I used are from the Easter Express collection. When you flip up this card, you find this adorable family of chicks and a great spot for the 2018 stickers.

The little "HOP" stickers are from a mini icon sheet (link below). It was fun to pair them with some of the larger alpha stickers. I used foam adhesive to make the bunny look like he is about to HOP off the page!

I used bits and pieces from the following collections to create this fun little book: Easter Express, Spring Things, Bunnyville, and Spring Garden. However, you could use Doodlebug's most recent Hippity Hoppity collection (links below) as an adorable substitute!

I've also added links below for the Abigail Alpha Stickers used in this album. Thank you for visiting the blog today!
