Fan-tastic Birthday Card with Lori Whitlock Designs

Hi everyone! Despite my love for mini albums, I do have fun with cards too, especially when I come across a card design as cute as this one!
Isn't this fun?!  The top of the box lays flat, and then when you pull the drawer open, the top lifts up.  Lori has lots of Pop Up Drawer designs in her shop.  Here is a shot of the back ...

I tucked in a gift card and my present is all set ... super cute and fun to make! The paper, also designed by Lori for Echo Park, is called Wish Upon A Star.

Sweet Summer Fun Mini Scrapbook Album, Doodlebug

Summer is almost here in Georgia and I couldn't be more ready! Don't get me wrong, spring is a beautiful time of year, but I've had enough pollen and I'm ready for some sunshine without the sneezing! This is why my newest mini album makes me so happy! Summer fun here I come!

I decided on yellow (think sunshine) and lots of Doodlebug Odds & Ends and Chit Chat for the cover. I can't get enough of these adorable die cuts, and when you pair them with chunky twine and sprinkles ... total cuteness!! (Links Below.)
Another thing I love about the new Sweet Summer collection? Well, I grew up in the 80's ... big hair, big shoulder pads and a boombox on the beach with a collection of mix tapes. Need I say more?

This Sweet Summer Collection has such pretty colored papers! Many are sold out but you can still find them a favorite shop of mine called Starlit Studio. She carries a lot of discontinued Doodlebug Collections.
How cute are those smiley-faced fruit? I love how Doodlebug puts a smiley face on everything. I love the sunshine paper above called Catching A Wave. Paired with the Fruit Cocktail print, it's giving me lots of summer vibes!

I like to add lined journaling spots throughout my albums. This paper comes in the Simple Stories binder that I used and looks so cute covered in colorful drinks and hearts!
Below I added some of the products used in this album and some other items from the collection I thought you might like. I hope this gives you happy summer feelings for the season ahead. Thanks for stopping by the blog today!

Puppy Love Dog Mini Scrapbook Album Kit

This adorable "So Dog Gone Cute" dog, pet scrapbook album will be a wonderful keepsake for your furry friend's memories! It would also make a great gift!

This lil cutie album has chipboard covers and 16 scrapbook pages (8 double-sided), including folding pages and pocket pages to allow for more space.  The album will hold at least 32 photos and measures 6"x6".

The acid free archival safe paper and embellishments are from Doodlebug's Puppy Love collection and this album uses lots of embellishments!

I always create my albums so that photos can easily tuck under embellishments and I always use only acid-free, photo-safe supplies.

The title on the cover says "So Dog Gone Cute" and some of the other pages say "So Happy Together", "I Love You",  and "You Make Me Smile".

Make sure to save those sweet puppy pics! One day you'll be so glad you did.

As always, thank you so much for visiting my shop! My goal is to create scrapbooks, memory albums, and kits that encourage people to share their stories, preserve their photos, and document their everyday lives.

Lightbulb Cards - May Blog Hop with Lori Whitlock

Hi crafty friends! Welcome to Lori Whitlock's May Blog Hop! My blog is the first stop on the hop, so be sure to hop back over to Lori's site too for more great ideas!
For my project today, I created a cute card for Father's day. I used one of Lori's cutting files called A2 Card Dad Lightbulb but she also has one for mom called A2 Card Mom Lightbulb (links below).

Father's Day Card with Lightbulb

This was fun to make and it can be used for Father's Day (Mother's Day) but also for a birthday, thinking of you or ... just to let them know how special they are. They will love that you made it and be super impressed!

Tiny Blessings Album, Simple Stories Oh Baby

What's almost as adorable as a new baby?  The new Oh Baby collection of course! I love the soft colors in this line so I knew the papers and embellishments would be precious for documenting my grand-daughter's story.

One of the things I love about Oh Baby! is that in addition to the main 12x12 papers, element cards, and stickers that come in the collection kit, there are two coordinating simple sets that you can add on.  The cute 3x4 card below came from the Oh Baby! Expecting simple set.

I wondered if I would mind the mixture of pinks and blues for a neutral baby collection, but I absolutely love it!  You can easily use Oh Baby for girl or boy projects!

The 6x8 paper pad is wonderful.  It includes sheets like the one shown above for journaling, and some that have adorable phrases like the one pictured below.

Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today and taking a peek into my granddaughter's album!  I can't wait to finish filling it up with photos of her first year. Here are some of the products I used in this project.
