Birthday Scrapbook Mini Album with Doodlebug

Hey friends! Check out this cute new scrapbook album I made. I love, love, love this mini. I'd keep it for my own boys' childhood birthday photos if I hadn't already scrapped them all already. I think this would make a wonderful gift for a birthday boy or a meaningful keepsake from their special day!

Birthday Boy Scrapbook Album with robots and stars

I used the adorable Doodlebug Hip Hip Hooray Collection. The paper and embellies could not be more fun and colorful. I mean, those robots on the cover are so cute! As you may know, I have a thing for Doodlebug Designs so lots of love and extra detail was poured into this one. :)

Birthday Boy Scrapbook Album page with stars and monsters

The album measures 6"x8", it has 12 pages, and space for 18 photos. I added pockets for extra pictures or memorabilia like cards, notes, movie tickets, brochures, etc.

I just love these colors, the cute little dinosaurs, and those silly smiling monsters!

And check out the fun scalloped round circles I added to the edge of each page. They act as tabs and add tons of interest. When the album is closed, they look great going down the right side.

12x12 Easter Parade Layout with Washi Tape

Hi everyone! I'm excited to be back over on Doodlebug's blog today sharing a 12x12 Easter layout that's full of color and the cutest embellishments! I used Doodlebug's Easter Parade Collection, colorful washi tape and beautiful polka dot vellum. Take a look ...

12x12 Easter Spring Scrapbook Page Layout with washi tape, bunny rabbit, and a lamb

Here's how I made it ... I love Doodlebug's washi tape so I decided to layer those fun polka dots over white card stock. I cut out 4 strips and positioned them in a tic-tac-toe fashion. Then I just had fun filling up each little square with Doodlebug cuteness!

I have also fallen in love with the sprinkles polka dot vellum! Although the photo does not do this justice, the sprinkle dots on the vellum add a little shine to each corner of the page. For a bit more fun, I added buttons, spring flower sprinkles and stickers. This might possibly be one of my favorite Doodlebug layouts thanks to all of the color!

I used the Easter Parade Collection for this layout but since it is older, it may be difficult to find. So ... I've added a few substitutes below.

3x3 Pop-Up Card Ideas

Hey guys! Today, I have a super fun project to share with you. I made three 3x3 inch pop-up cards using some of Lori Whitlock's amazing cutting files.

Although they were intended to be children's Valentine cards, I decided to create them for birthday and thank you gifts.

The base of the card is 3 x 3 inches and it cuts out in one piece that folds up. Lori has a simple instruction sheet for folding these little gems here.

This adorable dinosaur card might be my favorite. I just love the little spikes down his back, his sweet little heart, and the teeny tiny gem I used for his eye.

Lori added the front base cover pieces that you can cut and embellish as you wish and a notch on the card so that they can stay closed.

Oh, this one is so pretty! As you can see, I had fun adding stickers and gems to my cards. I hope I’ve inspired you today. I know you’ll have fun with these!

Here are the links to the cards in the Silhouette online store:

February Blog Hop with Lori Whitlock Designs

Hi everyone,
Welcome to Lori Whitlock's February blog hop!
If you just hopped on at my blog, be sure to head back over to Lori's site and start from the beginning :)  There are lots of fun projects at each stop so you won't want to miss any of them!

For my project, I created a card and an instagram mini album using two of Lori's print-and-cut camera designs.

To create the card base,  I enlarged the card to fit an A2 size envelope, and then duplicated it.

Next, I welded the two shapes together.

I had to add hit "cut outline" in the cut settings window, and then I cut out the card shape.

Using Lori's "Perfect Print" I added a birthday message to the print-and-cut camera (be sure to highlight your message and hit "no cut").  Once printed on textured card stock and cut out, I adhered the image to the front of my card base.

For the mini album, I cut the camera out using the print-and-cut feature.  I then cut the base shape out of chipboard and plain white card stock to create the album covers and pages.  It's the perfect little size for popular instagram photos!

Be sure to check out all the goodies that Lori has for you today!  Freebies, sales, and a chance to win a gift card over on her blog.

Doodlebug Hello Sunshine Mini Scrapbook Album

Happy Friday!  I'm thrilled to be posting over on Doodlebug's blog again today. They recently launched their new "Hello Sunshine" collection and ... oh my goodness!! The cuteness!  I created this little mini album with the collection.   I wanted it to look like a house or a little flower shop.  I'm not sure it looks like either of those, ha ha, but I do think it's fun and colorful :)

I used the 6x6 "Hello Sunshine" paper pad to cover each of the pages, and the circle die-cuts from the craft kit were the perfect size to cover the tabs on the album. I also used bright glitter sprinkles, "this and that" stickers, icon stickers, and spring flower sprinkles. Please visit Doodlebug's blog to see all of the fun projects that the design team has been creating with "Hello Sunshine" this week!

Echo Park Bundle of Joy Baby Album Kits

Hey guys! Today's project is Echo Park "Bundle of Joy" Baby Album Kits!
Echo Park Paper released a new baby collection at CHA this year .... "A New Addition" to the Bundle of Joy line they introduced a few years ago.  The two collections match, which makes adding to your baby albums easy since everything coordinates.

Sweet Baby Boy Scrapbook Album

Sweet Baby Girl Scrapbook Album

I created two minis for the shop using both collections.  They are the perfect size at 6x6" for a baby shower gift, surprise for the new mommy in the hospital, or to save all of your sweet baby's photos.

The album measures 6x6 inches and includes 16 pages. Pockets, tags, birth information and space for 30 photos! Adorable colors, sweet little baby animals, and lots of space for your darling pictures.
