NEW! Just Married Wedding Scrapbook Album

Hey friends, I can't believe it's Friday already but I'm so glad it is! On Wednesday, I introduced my Living the Beach Life Album and today I get to share my second newbie for the week! This one is titled Just Married and it has a beautiful wedding theme. Take a look ...

This would make an amazing little keepsake for a couple's sweet love story. The album is 6"x8" and I used a pretty Simple Stories collection called Happily Ever After

There are touches of metallic gold mixed with shades of cream, white, plum, mauve, and sage green. I'm loving the combination of colors, geometric prints and delicate flowers. Super pretty!

On the inside cover, there's a place to document all the important facts about the wedding day and plenty of room to share your thoughts and feelings.

There's a page with a cute fold-out card to save photos of the proposal, pictures of the engaged couple and of course, the ring! 💍💎

There are two pockets for saving extra photos or memorabilia like the invitation,  place cards, love notes, your handwritten vows, wedding cards, receipts, a printed napkin, honeymoon arrangements, tickets, etc...

I love the little tag above that says "the bride tribe", lol! Perfect spot for the beautiful bride-to-be, her bridal party and ... the dress!!

There is a perfect little fold out that has a spot to list the people in the wedding party and inside is a little pocket. So cute! This album has lots of pretty patterned papers and embellishments and room for over 50 photos!

Wouldn't this make the sweetest gift for the parents or grandparents?! Fill it with special moments from the day and they will treasure it forever!

NEW! Living the Beach Life Scrapbook Album

Hey there! I hope everyone is having a great day. I've had a busy (but fun!) few days making new albums for the shop. Did you catch that? I said albums. Plural! Yep, I've got 2 NEWBIES for you this week. Today, I'm introducing my "Living the Beach Life" album!

To purchase the instructions for this album visit:

This gorgeous album has all the tropical vibes that will make you feel like you're on an island getaway. With beautiful plumeria flowers, palm trees, pineapples and white-washed wood, you'll love saving your summer photos here.

I designed it with the Simple Stories Vintage Coastal collection and a 6"x8" album. It's filled with tropical colors like coral, pink and turquoise, vintage looking maps and pretty watercolor prints. I love it ...

Does anyone have a trip planned to the islands or maybe a beach vacation closer to home? I love to rent a place on the coast each summer to decompress, feel the sand between my toes, watch the sun rise, and breath in the salty air.

We always go with lots of family which is so much fun. We hunt for sea shells, explore the local lighthouse, build sand castles (or just dig a giant hole, lol), and enjoy great food. If this sounds familiar, then this is the place to document your trip so you can enjoy those "island vibes forever".

There are lots of fun flip-up cards (aka flippies) for saving your photos in and I just love all the little images on the front of them. There are sayings like "don't worry, beach happy", "living the good life", "soak in the beach vibes" and "fun in the sun".

This album is also great for your everyday photos ... even if there's no vacation involved!  I mean, who doesn't love a pretty beach theme? So go ahead and save your favorite photos with friends and family here. No beach required. 😊

Thanks for stopping by the blog today and I hope you love my new "Living the Beach Life" Album.

Party Decorations with Doodlebug

Hey Doodlebug friends! I recently noticed that one of my older design team projects was posted on the Doodlebug blog but I didn't post all about it on mine. It's a really simple and fun project that is perfect for birthdays, holidays or team parties.

I made a few baseball themed party decorations using the Doodlebug Home Run collection. However, you can substitute ANY collection and change the theme to fairies, cupcakes, Easter, baby, July 4th, Halloween, fall, etc! Seriously, any collection!

I started with cupcake wrappers. I used my CAMEO machine and cut the shapes using a cutting file called Basic Scalloped Cupcake Wrapper (link below). I was able to get 5 on one sheet and I used Doodlebug's 12x12 Play Ball paper. These stay together without adhesive ... super simple!

For the adorable cupcake toppers, I used baseball die cuts, a few pennant stickers from the This and That (link below), and some Doodlebug pixie sticks. Again, use any die cuts and stickers. The toughest part was actually making the cupcakes, lol!

For the invitation, I layered pattern paper from the 6x6 paper pad to the front of my card base, printed my party details, and added the "at the ball park" sticker. Such a fun invitation to receive, don't you think?

For my banner, I used a cutting file designed by Lori Whitlock called 6 Banner Flag Set (link below). I shortened it so that 4x4 cards from the collection would fit nicely on each (the white base is 5.5" x 6")

I layered paper from the 6x6 paper pad, punched holes in the top corners and added ribbon. I love how fun and easy this banner was to make and again ... use any theme!

Finally, for the water bottles I wrapped a strip of paper from the 12x12 paper called Baseballs around each bottle and added a few stickers with foam adhesive. How cute!

Just imagine how great these other themes/collections would be ...
  • A fairy theme with Doodlebug's Fairy Garden collection
  • A baking, sweets, cupcake or recipe party with the Made with Love collection
  • A summer party with the Bar-B-Cute collection
  • OR ... a scrappin' party with the Cute & Crafty collection!!

So many possibilities!! Below are the links to the cutting files, a few Doodlebug Home Run products and ... links to the Carta Bella Baseball collection that would be a great sports themed substitute. Have fun!
