A Card Organizing Album KIT + 12 So Much Pun Cards

Coming up with an idea for our latest kit was so much fun because it really forced me outside my box. I don't usually make cards.  I love them, and I think they are a lot of fun to create, but my mini album passion usually wins every time.  So, I decided to stick with my album addiction AND add cards  ... twelve cards!  You get all of the materials to make everything you see here in this kit!
The album is a card organizer, with pockets for general, birthday, get well, congratulations, and thank you cards.  The So Much Pun collection was perfect for this because of all of the adorable themes, die cuts, and chit chat pieces.
That dinosaur just kills me ... so stinkin' cute!!

The background petite prints are also new!  Florals with a graph pattern on the back...love!!

What Doodlebug project would be complete without sprinkles?  They add a little something to every project.  Here I used them on that adorable gumball machine :).

Here are a few close ups of some of the cards...

And, the first 12 orders will also receive a plastic pocket page for holding extra die cuts, postage stamps, or envelopes!

August Blog Hop with Lori Whitlock Designs

Hi crafty friends!  Welcome to Lori Whitlock's August Blog Hop! My blog is the first stop on the hop, so if you are starting here, be sure to hop back over to Lori's site too, because she has some goodies for you ... a sale, a giveaway, and a cute freebie!

School has started here in Georgia, and my granddaughter's first day of 2-year old preschool was this past week.  With her first day on my mind, I decided to create one of Lori's adorable pop-up box cards.
I used most of the pieces that came with the cutting file, but I decided to change it up a bit with a few stickers.  The cute little bus and the fun sign are both stickers from a paper collection that Lori designed for Echo Park paper called Back to School.  The solid blue back ground and the cute sheet that my card is sitting on, are also both from this awesome collection.

After you enjoy hopping around to see the creative team's projects, be sure to go back over to Lori's shop for her sale, giveaway, and freebie!

Dream Big Album with Simple Stories

I have loved saving my family memories over the years, and as some of you know, I have two sons, 24 and 28 years old.  As you can imagine, there are a lot of blue pages, sports layouts, and masculine themes in my albums .... until my sweet granddaughter joined the family 22 months ago.  I will continue to document the men in my life, but I'm having so much fun scrapbooking my life with this little princess.
The Dream Big collection was perfect for saving some of my favorite 2018 memories.  I love the colors!
The 2x2 pockets make such a fun page.  I added just one tiny photo on this page, to highlight a special moment between my granddaughter and her uncle.

I used the 12x12 collection pack, including the sticker sheet.  I also used the chipboard stickers, puffy stickers, and Bits & Pieces die cuts.

If you have a little girl in your life, the Dream Big collection is a must have.   Thanks for letting me share with you today!

Travel Memories DIY Scrapbook Album Kit

Summer travel anyone?  Have you been somewhere fun, or have plans to getaway soon?  My family traveled to Hilton Head, SC in June, and I'll also be flying to Utah later this month to hang out with some of my favorite crafty peeps for a scrapbook retreat.  I love to travel, and along the way I take lots of pictures and save little bits of memorabilia.  When I get home, I love to have an album ready to record all of my adventures.

My latest DIY album kit is all about our travel memories, and I hope you're going to love it as much as I do!
The perfect size for a travel journal, this album measures 6"x8" and tucks all of your wonderful photos and memorabilia into a binder album by Simple Stories.  It includes 16 pre-designed scrapbook pages and 10 divided plastic photo sleeves.
All of our kits come packaged by page, pre-cut, and with full instructions.  It's easy to follow the directions, or to change the design up to fit your needs.  There are fold-out pages, like the one above, and pull-out cards for more space and fun interactive elements.
Pockets allow you to tuck extra photos and memorabilia throughout the book, and the cute 3x4 cards are great for adding small photos on the back.
For the page above, I designed a fun waterfall feature that allows 8 photos to fit on this one page!

Isn't this a great paper collection?  It's a Carta Bella line called Pack Your Bags.  I love the colors and there are so many great embellishments.  The DIY album kit in my shop comes with a full package of ephemera die cuts, and a full 12x12 sticker sheet.
We've added the kit in the shop so it's ready to purchase, and we're working on packaging and instructions now.  Everything should be ready to ship out next week!

Sweet Girl Layout with Doodlebug's Hello Collection

For today's project I created a page layout about Rylee's attempt to catch a butterfly.   I knew the Hello collection would be perfect for this page ... the pink, the tiny flower print paper, and the gold!! Although white and gold are always hard to photograph, hopefully you can get an idea of how pretty the shine on the page really is.
At the bottom of the Hello This & That sheet are several rows of border stickers. That tiny gold dot border was calling my name and I was really glad I had several sheets when I decided to add it all the way around my page :)! The light pink edge down each side of the flower print is also a border sticker from the same sheet.  The adorable flowers in the upper right corner are a DoodlePop (I added the tiny pink bow from the Mini Icon Sheets), and the title is from the Chit Chat die cuts.

For the flowers in the lower left corner, I used a combination of acetate from the Odds & Ends, and enamel shapes from the Beautiful Blossoms assortment.

I hope I've inspired you to use mutiple border stickers on your next page ... and maybe a pop of gold! Have fun!
