12x12 June Scrapbook Calendar Page

Hey guys! Tomorrow is June 1st - the start of summer vibes and the month with the most daylight hours. Yessss. This means endless sunny afternoons, backyard fun, BBQs, swimming in the pool, tropical vacations, and tons of activities with family and friends. So, to keep you organized ... I have a new 12x12 calendar page!

12x12 June Summer Calendar Scrapbook Page Layout By Artsy Albums

I love summer so I had fun with this one. I added cute stickers to important days to remind me of my activities throughout the month. I'll also be writing on it but for now, it's just the pretty papers and embellies.

12x12 June Summer Scrapbook Page with swimsuits, flowers, and hot air balloon

I used the fabulous Echo Park, Here Comes The Sun Collection designed by Lori Whitlock. I love, love, love the flowers and the little swimsuit paper and sticker above. So cute!

I also used one of Doodlebug's Daily Doodles calendar sheets from my stash. But, the NEW Day to Day Calendar sheets are available to purchase in my shop. They're exactly the same except they come in lots of cute Doodlebug colors. (All product link below.)

12x12 June Summer Scrapbook Page with flowers, umbrella, and balloons

At the top, I added the 12x12 flower/green polka dot print called Spreading Sunshine. I created a title using Echo Park's pink paper and the June letters from the Day to Day month stickers.

12x12 June Summer Scrapbook Page with flowers and volkwagen bug cars

The LW and DB reminds me of my Lori Whitlock and Doodlebug Design team projects. I used the Alphabet Soup puffy stickers in bumblebee for those.

I usually only add numbers to about half of the days but ... the Day to Day number stickers come with enough to fill a 12-month calendar.

And last but not least ... the best part - all the super fun amazing stickers!! I used lots of cute ones from the 12x12 sticker sheet, the sticker book, and the puffy stickers.

Ok ... I'm ready for June and looking forward to a vacation, bike rides in the sunshine, relaxing on the beach, and cocktails with my family! 🌞 What are your June plans?

Golf Fairway Fun Scrapbook Album

Hello friends! Today, I'm sharing a new ooak mini album that I created with a golf theme. I've never made a scrapbook for golf before so, this was a first! I've made a 12x12 page and a few cards (here and here) for Father's Day but never an album. So, I'm excited to show it to you. I had a lot of fun making it and I hope it gives you some tee-rific inspiration. 😉

To purchase the instructions for this album visit:

I designed this with a 6x8 inch Simple Stories Flipbook in teal and the PhotoPlay, MVP Golf Collection. I'm loving this cover ... the theme is clear and the colors are great.

Golf Scrapbook Mini Album with fairway scene, flag, and golf ball

The fairway scene is a 3x3 card from the paper called Back Nine. Check out the white enamel dot that I used as a golf ball. Ha! Sometimes it's those small things that amuse me.

Golf Fairway Fun Scrapbook Mini Album for photos of golfing memories

This album would be a perfect gift idea for dad on Father's Day. Fill it with photos of his family, friends, and favorite memories. Not only will he enjoy the pictures, but he'll love the fact that you made it.

Golf Scrapbook Album Page with score card

This would also be great for any golf enthusiast. It makes a thoughtful birthday, Mother's Day, or Christmas present. And, the collection has this 6"x3" card that's perfect for keeping track of their most memorable game.

Golf Scrapbook Album Page with space for photos and memorabilia

You can use this album for your own memories, too. Add photos of playing golf with friends, golf lessons, your favorite vacation courses, or your own club's member guest events.

Golf Scrapbook Album Page with clubs, tees, balls, and photo mats

Or ... what about pictures from a PGA tournament, a weekend at the Masters, or students on a golf team?!

There's a pocket for journaling cards and memorabilia like ... scorecards, an autograph, brochures from different courses, postcards, passes, badges, a ball marker, or vintage collectible cards.

Golfing Scrapbook Album Page with golf ball, tees, and a tag with ribbon

There are over 25 million people that play golf in the United States. Most players aren’t professional ... they just enjoy the sport with friends, family, and co-workers. It's a great activity to get outside, work on technique, and spend time with others.

This is an amazing project for a Father's Day gift or a wonderful keepsake for anyone's golfing memories. Thanks for stopping by the blog and happy scrappin'!

Here Comes the Sun Scrapbook Mini Album

Hi scrappers! With summer just around the corner, I've been daydreaming about sunny days, the beach, taking the grandlittles to the pool, the smell of coconut sunscreen, and new flowers in my yard. So with that in mind, I decided to play with a pretty new paper collection I got! Take a look ...

Here Comes the Sun Summer Scrapbook Mini Album By Artsy Albums

The collection is called Here Comes The Sun and it's designed by Lori Whitlock for Echo Park. It's filled with flowers, strawberries, swimwear, waves, dots, clouds, summer phrases, balloons, kites, vintage vehicles & campers, bikes, umbrellas, and a hot air balloon! So many fun summer icons.

Summer Scrapbook Mini Album By Artsy Albums

I used a 4x5 inch Graphic 45 album. I love these tiny minis. They're perfect for photos from a smaller occasion like a weekend at the beach, a family vacation, backyard fun, neighborhood bbq, or a pool party.

Here Comes the Sun Scrapbook Mini Album Page

Inside the front and back covers, I added a yellow and orange paper filled with sunshine. I used prints from the 6x6 paper pad throughout and included a "Here comes the sun" flippie on the first page.

Summer Scrapbook Mini Album Page with flowers, a hot air balloon, pockets, & tags

This album has lots of pockets and cute little tags. I added a few shiny brads to the ones above. Love those!

Here's another flippie I made with one of the 3x4 journaling cards. These make great photo mats or a place to document dates, locations, names, or a fun story.

Check out that adorable strawberry paper. I love it and I'm already thinking of other projects to use that on. This page has a clever little side pocket with pull-out card AND a front pocket with another tag.

Father's Day Sports Gift Box Tutorial

Hey guys! Today, I'm sharing an awesome Father's Day project that I made for Lori Whitlock's blog. I used her brand new cutting file called 4 Candy Drawer #1 Dad Sports (link below) and made a gift box for my #1 Dad!

It's perfect for small gift ideas like his favorite candy, collectible coins, fishing lures, a key chain, golf ball markers, golf tees, a swanky new pen, cuff links, or a tie pin. You could even enlarge the size & add golf balls!

Father's Day Sports Themed Gift Box Tutorial By Artsy Albums

This simple design includes a rectangular box (or drawer) and four small square boxes that fit inside. The #1 Dad sleeve slides over it and keeps everything contained. I love the cut-outs on top. Such a fun and clever way to present a gift.

Father's Day Sports Themed Gift Box Tutorial for Dad

Here are a few tips for assembling this project.  First, use a medium weight card stock for the boxes and the "drawer"... probably less than 100#.  If the card stock is too thick, it might make the drawer a little tight. I used Bazzill 80# (Jade) and it worked perfectly.

Tip #2:  If you fold all of the score lines on the little boxes correctly, as in the photo above, you will hide all of the glue tabs and end up with a nice solid base.

The 4 little boxes inside act as dividers and they're removable. You can use them all or just some of them, depending on the size of your item(s). I love this design, but ... Lori also has other styles so, be sure to check those out and pick the one that's best for your father.

I hope you like this fun gift box idea. Since Father's Day is Sunday, June 18 you still have plenty of time to get your crafty pants on! 😉
