NEW! December Documented Christmas Album

Hello friends! I can't believe it's already Friday. It's been a busy week here at Artsy Albums. New collections have arrived and I'm so excited to share what's ahead over the next month. But today, I'm introducing this week's NEW kit called December Documented. It's gorgeous!! Take a look ...

To purchase the instructions to make this album visit:

Whether you want to document every day in December or just save special moments from the holiday, this album is the perfect keepsake for your Christmas memories.

I designed this album with the Simple Stories collection called Vintage Rustic Christmas. The traditional red and green colors are beautiful and there are lots of images of Santa, poinsettias, holly and evergreens.

Numbers are included in the kit so you can choose to take photos each day leading up to (and including) Christmas or skip the numbers and add pictures as you wish.

I've added lots of bells and whistles in this album like fun, interactive flippies and fold-outs. Check out the page above - doesn't the folding element look like a Hallmark Christmas card?! I love it!

There are pockets for saving special memorabilia like ... a letter to Santa, the little's wish list, a family holiday recipe, Christmas cards, tickets to a show or holiday event, church program, or extra photos.

If you want to document each day or just need some new picture ideas ... here's a list of fun activities worth taking fun photos of:
  • A visit with Santa
  • Cut down your own tree
  • Make garland with the family - use pom-poms, dried fruit, popcorn or cranberries
  • Attend a lights festival
  • Gather friends to roast chestnuts or marshmallows around an open fire
  • Volunteer for a charitable cause
  • Decorate your home with twinkle lights - inside and out
  • Make birdseed ornaments for your tree outside and watch the birds enjoy
  • Go ice skating with the family
  • Have a movie night with your favorite Christmas shows
  • Invite friends over for a cookie swap
  • Build a snowman, a fort, a snow angel or have a snowball fight
  • Make or wear an ugly Christmas sweater
  • Take a family photo in front of the tree
  • Write a letter to Santa
  • Bake & decorate holiday cookies with the littles or grandlittles
  • Do something kind for someone else
  • Create your own Christmas cards, wreath, or an advent calendar
  • Spend an afternoon wrapping presents with a bestie (... and eggnog!)
  • Get dressed up and attend a holiday party
  • Build a gingerbread house
  • Go caroling with friends
  • See a holiday play
  • Be creative with hiding an Elf on the Shelf
  • Make smores and hot chocolate
  • Have a family sleepover and camp out in front of the twinkling lights of the Christmas tree
  • Make paper snowflakes
  • Put together an Artsy Albums kit for someone as a wonderful handmade Christmas gift!!

Whew ... that's a busy December! I can't wait. I hope you have fun this holiday season, take lots of photos and save them in one of my beautiful scrapbook albums. Five years from now, you'll be so glad you did.

Little Pumpkin Mini Album with Doodlebug Designs

Hey friends! Today, I have a really cute "Little Pumpkin" shaped mini album to share with you that's filled with the adorable Happy Haunting collection. I love a shaped album so when I realized October 26th is National Pumpkin Day, I knew exactly what I wanted to make!

To start, I cut the front and back covers out of clear acrylic with my new laser printer. I got the shape from Doodlebug's SVG cutting file called Pumpkins from the Flea Market collection.

The first page that you see through the cover was made with the 12x12 Hello paper. It's the perfect color and I just adore the cute print. The little worm sprinkle sticker might be my favorite little character of the bunch!

Inside the album, I used a colorful mix of 12x12 Happy Haunting and Petite Print papers for the base of each page. Then I decorated with lots of fun pieces. Here I used the Dot and Stripe in citrus and the funny specimen jars from the Odds and Ends. I just love the jar of eyeballs!

How cute are these happy pumpkins?! Paired with a friends sticker from the This and That, I can just imagine the fun photos that could be saved on this page.

This Happy Haunting collection is so bright and colorful. The cute purple house against the green "Spooky" paper is ah-mazing! It's makes the perfect backdrop for photos of crazy costumes, holiday parties, fun decorations and yummy treats!

For the round photo mats, I used a 3.5" scallop punch and a 3" circle punch.

Rylee was visiting when I was working on this page … she stuck the eye ball stickers on the page before I caught her so I just left them. Looks pretty cute!  I may have another scrapbooker in the family! The spider filled BOO is from the Chit Chat. The green circle with the dots is from the Bits and Pieces. I'm loving these new die cuts! This package comes with tags, tabs, shapes, and tombstones. Oh, and trees ...

... like this one! I added some dots from the Spider Celebration Sprinkles to the branches so they would look like colorful lights. And check out the ghosts peeking from behind the tree, lol! So cute!

Hope everyone has a great Halloween and uses the adorable Happy Haunting collection for their fun projects!

Hello Fall Scrapbook Album

Happy Friday!! I'm having a great time at She Loves Color and I'm so happy to be meeting so many of you in person! If we haven't met yet, be sure to come find me in the Bright & Bold room. I'll have a little gift for you!

Yesterday, I shared one of two NEW albums for the week, Christmas Blessings. It uses a fun, colorful Bella Blvd collection and it's perfect for your sweet December photos. Today, I'm introducing #2 for the week and it's called Hello Fall. It's filled with all the cozy, earthy, autumn feels ... take a look.

To purchase the instructions to make this album visit:

This wonderful new album uses a Simple Stories collection called Simple Vintage Country Harvest and a 6"x8" Flipbook. I love the autumn colors (check out the pretty teal color!), the leaves and all the beautiful butterflies.

This pretty album will be such a meaning keepsake for your fall photos. I can just see pics of family and friends on these pages snuggled up in cool weather clothes, outside amongst the changing leaves. This would also be great for your professional family photos.

I love the change in seasons. It always allows for new photo opportunities like a fall festival, a visit to the pumpkin patch, Halloween, apple picking at the orchard, a corn maze, high school homecoming parades, football games, and all the colorful outdoor changes. It’s a wonderful time to take pictures.

This album has plenty of room for 40+ photos, spaces to journal, and a handy dandy pocket for memorabilia. So save those favorite fall recipes, tickets from an activity or event, brochures, postcards, sweet love notes or even a few colorful dried leaves.

Of course, I have to include fun folding elements in all my albums. I really love a good flippie! And speaking of which ... should we just ignore the fact that those pumpkins in the truck above are really, really big? Lol!

This album would be perfect for your Thanksgiving memories, too. Are you going away or having company come to visit? Take pics of your special feast with all the fixins' and desserts! Spend the long weekend enjoying your family and friends, go on a hike, roast marshmallows over an outdoor fire pit ... or better yet, make SMORES!! And ... take lots of fun photos!

So ... what do you think of my Hello Fall Album? Really pretty, right? Along with my new Christmas Blessings Album, I definitely have you covered for your seasonal photos!

Update: The album kit has sold out but I've added the links for the Instructions and the products used below. My instructions are simple, step-by-step and include measurements and full color photos of each page. Happy scrappin'!
