New! Family & Fall Scrapbook Kits

Hello my friends!  I got home from the Simple Stories (AMAZING) Get Creative retreat on Sunday night and have spent the week shipping, and planning, and ordering, and cutting, and packaging, and assembling, and all the things!  So, I'm super excited to share my TWO new kits with you today.

First up ... a new Pumpkin Spice 12x12 page kit.  Six pages, an adorable Doodlebug collection, and a full package of coordinating Odds & Ends die cuts!  What's not to love with this one?  So fun!

I love the colors in this collection. The pop of teal makes me so happy!  And you've told me what makes you happy ... getting lots of pictures on a page and 2-page layouts. So, I got you!!

That's a lot of fun for 6 pages!  You'll even have enough cute die cuts left over to make the pages your own, or save them for another future project :)

Fall 12x12 Scrapbook Page with journaling card

I've also included the adorable journaling cards that go with the collection, because you know me ... it's all about the pictures and the STORY!  So, each layout has a spot for journaling about the pumpkin patch, the fall decorations, the chilly walks through the corn field, the pumpkin spice latte from your favorite coffee shop ... or times spent together with friends and family.

Okay ... so I could go on and on about this cute page kit but I need to also tell you about my second kit!!!

I'm excited to introduce my Best Family Ever!!  Oh my goodness, I LOVE this one!

Fall Pumpkin Window Flip Card With Lori Whitlock

Hey guys! I'm over on Lori Whitlock's blog today sharing this pretty fall inspired card I created it with one of Lori's super fun cutting files called Window Flip Card Pumpkin. It's 4.25"x5.5" and it would be great for someone to welcome in the new season, as a thank you, a get well soon, or to let them know you're thinking of them.

Fall Pumpkin Card By Artsy Albums using a SVG File

I started with white cardstock for the base, then chose some fall colored papers from Echo Park's Fun On The Farm 6x6 paper pad. I love the smaller sized prints for this project. I used a 12x12 orange solid from Echo Park's Easter Wishes Collection and a 12x12 yellow solid (flower) from the Fun on the Farm Collection.

Fall Pumpkin Card By Artsy Albums using a SVG File

Here's what it looks like opened up. I love how it props up for display. If you'll look closely, I added a glitter enamel dot to the yellow flower and some sprinkles for the berries on the branches. Such pretty little details.

The pumpkin card inside flips up to create an easel effect. Perfect for sitting out for display on your desk, an accent table in your home, or on a shelf as a little fall decor.

There is a simple tutorial for assembling the card here, but I took some close up pictures of the flip detail and copied some of Kathy's original instructions below.

Start with the piece with the 3 score lines. Fold all the score lines in the same direction. Add adhesive to one end section. Fold the whole piece in half… adhesive on the outside. Attach this piece to the bottom half of the open card base. It should be centered, and the piece with the adhesive should be facing down and closest to the fold in the card. Once this is in place, add a strip of adhesive on the section closest to the card fold.

Fold the card closed and press so that the top of the card is firmly attached to the folded section.  Now, when you open the card, you will have a squared tube inside the card.  Next, fold the small tab along the score line.  Cover the smaller side of the tab with adhesive.

Adhere this small piece to the top of the squared tube, centering it.  You want the remaining tab to be sticking up furthest away from the fold.

Adhere the pumpkin panel to the adhesive on the white tab and add foam tape as shown in the photo below.

How fun! I love this card and can't wait to give it to someone this season. You can find this cutting file in Lori's SVG shop or in the Silhouette Design store with the links below. Thanks for stopping by!

NEW! Baking Spirits Bright Recipe Album

Helllooo scrappers! It's fabulous Friday and that means I have TWO new projects for you. On Wednesday, I shared my new Summer Fun Mini Album which is available in the shop now. And today ... I have this amazing new Christmas recipe album titled "Baking Spirits Bright"! It would be a wonderful addition to anyone's kitchen filled with fun photos and yummy recipes.

I designed this with the Simple Stories, Baking Spirits Bright Collection and a 6x8 binder in robin's egg blue. It's filled with lots of baking images, Christmas trees, gingerbread men and women, yummy treats, gingham prints, dots, stripes, and so much more.

How many of you have treasured family holiday recipes with great memories attached to them? I think a lot of us do, so ... this album can be part recipe album / part scrapbook. Use the pages to tell your family's stories. Include photos and written details like, who the recipe came from, when was it created, and why it holds special meaning to your family.

This is a great way to organize your Christmas recipes too and keep them separate from your everyday recipes. Save ones that your grandmother gave you, ones torn from a magazine, hand-written cards and all the ones you printed from your computer.

Check out the cute fold-out page above. The "Baking Faves" card on the front is filled with baking supplies and I love the adorable little gingerbread cookies!

This scrapbook is a big one! It has 50 pages (25 double-sided) that include 2 fold-out pages, 2 pockets, 6 fun flippies, 8 double-sided tabbed divider pages, 3 chipboard tabbed pages, and six 4x6 recipes sleeves.

I love a handy dandy pocket in a scrapbook ... especially ones with cute cards! I like to use these for journaling, adding new recipes, shopping lists, meal planning or as mats or your favorite photos.

This would make a great gift for someone special. It's perfect for a baker, cook, your mom, grandmother, sister, or a friend! Christmas is in a few months!

Are your recipes disorganized and floating around in a drawer or box? Put them in an album that makes searching for your holiday favorites easy and way more fun to look at, lol!

Want to pass down a few holiday favorites to your daughter, a new bride, or your granddaughter? This would make a keepsake she would cherish forever.

My new Baking Spirits Bright Album is in my shop along with my new Summer Fun Mini. Two great options for super fun projects AND ... great gift ideas! Ready to get some Christmas shopping done early? Let's do this. 😊
