Simple Stories Old School Mini Album

Hi everyone!  I'm visiting over on the Simple Stories blog today to share a mini album using their new Old School Simple Set.
I wanted a small album that I could have for my son's school pictures K-8.  The Old School Simple Set worked perfectly since the album is small and I only needed a few sheets of paper and stickers.  The album is a 4x6 Sn@p binder in black.

The 3x4 pocket pages are perfect for wallet size school photos!

The collection comes with some great 3x4 and 4x6 cards too!

A book like this will be fun to add to year after year. Thanks so much for letting me share it with all of you today!  Happy crafting!

Home Sweet Home Scrapbook Mini Album, Doodlebug Yankee Doodle

Hi Artsy Albums friends!  I'm over on the Doodlebug blog today to share a little Home Sweet Home decor project.   Well, it's part home decor project, and part mini album, and it's available as a DIY kit in my shop!

Although you might think the Yankee Doodle collection is just for the Fourth of July, it's also great for everyday home and family projects.   I plan to leave this album sitting out all year long!

Everyone knows how crazy I am about the Odds and Ends that come with each collection, and now I'm loving the mini icon stickers too! They are such a fun size!  Aren't the jars in the photo below adorable?!

More mini icon stickers above ... CUTE!!

Thanks for letting me share this fun project with you today!  If you would like to make this fun album for yourself, or a gift, the DIY kit is for sale in my Artsy Albums shop.  We also have the stands available for purchase :)

Not only is the mini album available, but we have a new page layout kit available too!  These pages are perfect for all of your July 4th memories!
Happy Crafting everyone!

Pinterest Inspired Gift Card Folder with Doodlebug Fairy Tales

Hi Doodlebug Friends!  It's Traci and I'm back to share my project for our Pinterest Inspired Challenge.  I came across this fun little folding mini album on Pinterest and thought it would make a cute little birthday surprise.

For my version, gift cards replace the photos for a fun Birthday Gift Card Folder.

The gingham treat bags are perfect for tucking in gift cards or cash, and the cute clips are not only adorable, but help hold the flaps down and the cash in!

All you need to make this cute project is one sheet of 12x12 card stock, some pattern paper, and some embellishments.
  1. Start by scoring the 12x12 card stock at 3.5", 4", 8", and 8.5".
  2. Rotate the paper 90 degrees to the left.
  3. Score again at 3" and 7.5".
  4. Trim out the areas shown in black on the Pinterest diagram above.

I can't wait to give this sweet little gift to someone.  The birthday girl could even add photos in the folder for a cute little keepsake later :)

Here is a list of products I used for my project:
1 sheet of white 12x12 card stock
Fairy Tales pattern paper
Fairy Tales Odds & Ends
Fairy Tales This & That Sticker Sheet
Fairy Tales Cute Clips
Treat Bags
Unicorn Doodle Pop
Fairy Tales Mini Icon Sticker

Thanks so much for checking out my Pinterest inspired project!  Happy crafting!

Graduation Album Kit with Doodlebug Hats Off

Congrats to all of the graduates out there!  It's Traci, and I remember celebrating my boys' graduations from high school a few years back.  It's such an exciting time and those memories need to be captured!  What better way than with a fun mini album and some awesome products from Doodlebug's Hats Off collection!

One of my favorite things about this new collection is the silver. I love that it's metallic so that it gives the paper and embellishments some shine ... perfect for a celebration!

For the inside cover, I added a Diploma from the Mini Diplomas and Caps along with some of the great Odds & Ends die cut pieces.  What a fun little spot for adding a name and date!

Since my album is 6x6, I was able to use the sheets from the 6x6 paper pad for my backgrounds.

The clear die cut film strip, and the Skinny silver alpha stickers worked perfectly for adding the graduation year to one of the pages.

Thanks for stopping by today!!
