Doodlebug Hey Cupcake Mini Album

What is more fun than a birthday celebration for kids?  I love the pure joy on their faces, the colorful decorations, and of course, the cake!  So why not save all of your fun memories in a cute little mini album ... or make one for a friend after you've attended their party.  The brand new Hey Cupcake collection is perfect for this project!

For the cover, I decided to add a 3-dimensional bow designed by Lori Whitlock.  You can find her cutting file here.  I also love the new Doodle Cut mini tags so I made one with a little Happy birthday sentiment from the birthday girl stamps set.  And those DoodlePops!  So stinkin' cute!

I used the cards and envelopes (Hey Cupcake Assortment) throughout the album too ... above is an adorable bubblegum card that open up for photos to tuck inside.

The whole album was made with a 6x6 paper pad and a few sheets of petite prints.  I used chit chat pieces, the This & That sticker sheet, and icon stickers for all of the cute embellishments.

All of the die cuts above are from the Chit Chat pieces.

These doodlepops with the layers and shine!  I just love them!

Well I know you are going to love Hey Cupcake as much as I do, so I hope I've given you a cute little idea for a fun birthday project!

So Sweet Layout Cutting Tutorial, Bella Blvd

Hi everyone!  Today I want to share a new layout with you and give you a few quick tips on how to create a circle background with a cutting machine.  I used lots of cute Bella Besties paper and a Silhouette Cameo machine.
Bella Blvd, Squeeze the Day, Bella Besties

I started by creating random circle shapes in the silhouette software. I made sure to leave a bit of space between them.

Once I had all the circles where I wanted them, I highlighted them and selected the offset tool. I adjusted the offset to 0.2 and hit apply.

Finally, I used the knife tool to shave off the parts of the circles that overlapped my mat.

I could have used my cutting machine to also cut out all of the Bella Besties pattern circles, but I had enough sizes of regular circle punches so I used those to save some time.
I used both 12x12 and 6x6 papers for some contrast in the patterns.

Finally, I adhered letters from the Squeeze the Day chipboard for my title, and cute strawberries from the ephemera and epoxy icons.  I can't get enough of the Bella Bestie solid papers! Thanks for letting me share my layout with you!

Girl & Boy Birthday Scrapbook Album Kits, Doodlebug

Hello Friends!
I'm a little late announcing my new birthday albums here but I hope you follow me on social media (Facebook and Instagram) and saw these 2 adorable girl and boy birthday cuties!

They are available as DIY kits or pre-assembled and they will make wonderful keepsakes for your fun birthday pictures!

Girl Birthday Scrapbook Album

The kitty cat, the presents, the sprinkling confetti and that pretty pink, flowery, super girly cake makes such a pretty cover!
Both albums have interactive fold outs for added space and a pocket for birthday cards, notes or extra photos.
This would make a special & unique gift for your daughter, your granddaughter or your daughter's best friend. Instead of a toy, clothes or a gift card ... this would be something they'd keep forever. And you could put it together with them. That's a win for both of you! Gift. ✔ Fun activity. ✔ Quality time. ✔!!

The colorful papers and the playful embellishments in the girl album are from Doodlebug Designs, Hey Cupcake. It also has 12 pages (6 double-sided) and can fit over 20 photos!

 Boy Birthday Scrapbook Album

This boy album is adorable with puppy dogs, monkeys, stars and birthday wishes scattered throughout!

Boys enjoy being artistic and crafty too and what a great project to do with your son or grandson. They can decide where the stickers go and which photos to use. Lol. Yeah, they might not have been your exact choices but that's really cute and you still spent a fun time together talking and laughing.
Maybe you know someone who's having a dog themed birthday party. This would be so perfect.

The colorful papers and the fun embellishments in the Boy album are from Doodlebug Designs, Party Time. It also has 12 pages (6 double-sided) and can fit over 20 photos!

There are lots of fun sayings through out both of these albums. And remember, you can purchase the girl AND the boy album and be set for the next couple birthday parties that come along!

As always, thanks for stopping by my blog and don't forget to check out my online shop!

Road Trip to Disney Scrapbook Page Layout

I guess most of us aren't doing much traveling these days, but I have plenty of travel photos from past trips that I haven't scrapbooked yet.  And now that we're at home more than usual, we can take advantage of some crafting time!  I had so much fun creating this layout using I❤️Travel.
I love all the adorable die cuts that came in the Odds & Ends, Tags, and Chit Chat.  It was really hard for me to choose which ones to use because they're all so cute! That little sunshine kills me!

Wow, so clearly I need my contacts adjusted!  I had no idea that my cute little swirly border from the This & That sticker sheet didn't get lined up correctly.  Oh well, handmade isn't suppose to be perfect right? :)
Isn't that tiny little camera adorable!? He is a shape sprinkle from "picture perfect", and those colorful suitcases are the "pack your bags" DoodlePop.

I hope I've given you a little travel layout inspiration today!  Stay safe and healthy everyone!
