Valentine Mini Album using So Punny

Valentine's Day is just around the corner and for me, it was love at first sight when I saw the So Punny collection.  Making a Valentine mini with these colors and darling die cuts was so much fun.  I decided to create a waterfall style album so that all of the yummy papers could really be seen.

I think that little clock is my favorite sticker, but I'm "cuckoo" for all of them so who am I kidding? And this time there are TWO icon sticker sheets ... more to LOVE!

Those tiny heart sprinkles!!

Those new 3x4 cards are also awesome!!  Love them for pocket scrapbooking, cards, and of course, mini albums!

That little scallop border sticker from the This & That sticker sheet is also a favorite ... I wish I had a whole sticker page of those!!

Thanks for stopping by and letting me share my Valentine mini with you!

First Snow Layout using Doodlebug Cut Files

It doesn't snow every year in Georgia, but when it does, it's a big deal.  And seeing snow for the first time ever, is a really big deal!  I created this layout of my granddaughter and loved having the Frosty Friends cut files to bring the page to life.  I layered the pieces with foam tape and a little bit of Doodlebug's sugar coated glitter, used paper and sprinkles from the Polar Pals collection, and tucked a little journaling tag behind the adorable penguin.  I created the title on my own using Lori Whitlock's Everyday font and Doodlebug's Snowflake from the Here Comes Santa files.

Time for Family Fun Mini Album with Doodlebug So Punny

Hey everyone! I'm up on the Doodlebug blog today, sharing my So Punny mini album! This completely adorable collection isn't just for Valentines Day, so I created a family themed mini album that will make me smile everytime I look through it.  And Yes!  it IS available as a DIY kit in my Etsy shop :)
First of all, the colors!!  I love bright colors with a pop of black ... my favorite!
And second .... the adorable "punny" icons and sayings make me giggle every time!!  This is definitely one of my happiest albums ever.
You know I love my sprinkles ... well the precious tiny hearts (seen above and below) are brand new. I'm stocking up on these and sticking them everywhere! :)
I'm so excited about the new Chit Chat pieces (words, quotes, and speech bubbles).  They are great for my mini albums and will be perfect for all of you card makers and scrappers out there too.

I can't wait to add a picture of my 1 year old granddaughter to the page above ... she IS juice the cutest!

My granddaughter calls my husband Pop ... so I guess we know who's pictures will be going here!

to purchase this album as a DIY kit, or premade!

The Great Outdoors with Paper House

I'm excited that I was invited to be a guest designer over on the Paper House blog today! I had so much fun creating this 6x6 mini album with their new The Great Outdoors collection.
I found a kraft chipboard album in my stash and loaded the cover up with fun papers and 3D stickers. That cute little truck embellishment is my favorite part!
For the first page I used more of the 3D stickers, along with a cute epoxy clip and arrow sticker.

For the next two pages above, I added stick-on pockets to a few of the corners.  I love these!  They are great for tucking extra photos or journaling spots in.
I created a flip-up element on this page so that I could include a few more horizontal pictures.  The 4x6 "Relax & Unwind" piece was a great addition to the front of the card.

I really like how this collection has papers and embellishments for lots of outdoor adventures ... camping, hunting, fishing, hiking, campfires, and more.
Check out the Rice Paper border sticker above!

I had tons of fun playing with The Great Outdoors, and I hope I've inspired you to save your fresh air adventures in a fun mini album.

Until next time, happy scrapping!

Cream & Sugar Arcylic Mini Album

Happy New Year!  It's Traci, and I'm excited to be back on the Doodlebug design team for another year!  I always look forward to the latest Doodlebug collections, but for my first post of 2018, I'm looking back to one of the most popular, and adorable, collections of 2017 ... Cream & Sugar!
I decided on an acrylic album for this project so I did a little video to show the clear pages a bit better ....

I used papers from the 6x6 paper pad, stickers, and lots of sprinkles in this mini.
I also loaded the album up with Odds & Ends.  I had 2 packages, which came in really handy for matching up pieces on both sides of a clear page (like the cake on the cover, and the one shown above).

Thanks so much for stopping by the blog today!  I hope you all have a wonderful start to 2018!  Stop by Artsy Albums and say hello sometime!
