Mother's Day Mini Album Gift with My Mind's Eye Hello Gorgeous

I'm just quickly hopping on the blog this morning to introduce you to our newest mini album kit!  It's all about Mom for this one (don't forget ... Mother's Day is May 8th!).  When I saw this collection from My Mind's Eye, called "Hello Gorgeous", I knew it would be perfect for a special gift. 

I just love the colors in this collection ... teal and deep rose, with hints of pink, lime, and cream...gorgeous!

The album is available in the shop pre-assembled, or as a DIY kit.  As always, our kits are pre-cut, packaged by page, and come with full step-by-step instructions.  They are fun and easy to assemble, and are perfect handmade gifts!

Our Little Mermaid Scrapbook Album, Doodlebug Under the Sea

Happy Friday everyone!
I'm in love with Doodlebug's new Anchor's Away collection, and after adding the "Lil' Sailor" mini album to the shop, I received a request for a girl version.  Thankfully, Doodlebug has a sister collection called Under the Sea so it was perfect for this sweet mermaid mini.

Cute paper and embellishments aren't they??  Doodlebug rocks! I haven't decided if I will turn this design into a kit for the shop yet ... I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Doodlebug Under the Sea Layout

Happy Monday Artsy Albums friends!  I'm excited to be sharing my "Under the Sea" layout over on the Doodlebug Blog today!  This new collection is super cute!

The papers and embellies are perfect for anything girly ... so don't just think "beach".  They worked perfectly for these adorable dress-up photos of my niece.  How fun is it that she and the mermaid have matching headbands!!  LOL!  

I created a little scene in the top corner using the new shape sprinkles that come with this collection, and added some adorable bubble sprinkles next to my little mermaid.

I love Doodlebug's fancy frills border stickers, so I decided to add a bunch of them to the bottom of the page along with more sprinkle dots.  It was an added bonus that the cute sea critters were peeking out underneath!

Lil' Sailor Scrapbook Mini Album, Doodlebug Anchors Aweigh

Hi everyone!  I'm back to share another mini album kit with you.  This one features the new Doodlebug Anchors Aweigh collection and I just can't get enough of the adorable patterns, sea critters, and colors in this line. 

This album will be perfect for a little guy's first trip to the beach, a newborn nursery theme, or any fun photos of your lil' sailor!

For the first page, I used my die-cutting machine to create a folded porthole card.  It opens so that you can tuck photos inside!  How cute is that little sea turtle?!

I love all of the stickers that come with this collection.  There are lots of cute sea creatures, phrase stickers and borders.  I used one of the fancy frills border stickers to create my "seaweed".

I've been busy working on some new kits for the shop this week.  I added this travel scrapbook to our kit collection today and I'm really excited to share a few of the details with you!

This album is available as a DIY kit or pre-assembled and will make a wonderful keepsake for photos of your tropical vacation photos. The album measures slightly larger than 6x8 inches, and includes 12+ scrapbook pages, 5 fun shaped/journaling pages, 8 divided plastic photo sleeves, and a large envelope for memorabilia.

Gorgeous paper and embellishments, tags, fold out pages, pockets -- these are just a few of the things that adorn the 12 scrapbook pages of this travel album. The cover is covered with fabulous paper and embellishments by Simple Stories. The pages also include three pockets and a fold-out page so that at least 23 photos can be added to the scrapbook pages, and many more can be saved in the plastic sleeves. I always create my albums so that photos can easily tuck under embellishments, and I always use only acid-free, photo-safe supplies. The title on the cover says "Travel Journal" and other pages say "Here We Go", "Paradise", "Fun in the Sun", and "Happy Place" ... just to name a few.

The All Things Silhouette Conference

It's been such a fun weekend in Peachtree City, GA, hanging out with lots of new friends at the All Things Silhouette conference!  Thanks so much to Rushita and Gina for all of your help!  I couldn't have done it without you!!

I had fun teaching 3 Silhouette mini album classes and meeting lots of great ladies at my Artsy Albums booth.  I also got to hang out with my friend Lori Whitlock :)  Love her!  I hope to return for the next conference in November!  Check out the details here.
