Fall Festival Scrapbook Page Layout

Hey there friends! It's the start of a new week and no need for the Monday blues! I have some beautiful Fall inspiration for you that will give you all the cozy feels of family time, falling leaves, the smell of wood burning and a chill in the air. This time it's a beautiful 12x12 page layout I made using the Simple Stories, Cozy Days Collection.

The warm fall colors and the leaf / floral designs are so pretty in this collection. The olive green patterned paper I used in the background is called Hello Autumn and I layered it with the cream leaf-patterned paper called Harvest Wishes. I love that this paper mimics Rylee's dress on a larger scale. I matted our sweet pics with the double sided paper called, Chilly Days (all product links below).

Rylee and I were at a Fall Festival this day but this would make a beautiful layout for outdoor family photos, the kids playing in the leaves, a corn maze, a pumpkin patch or Thanksgiving day photos.

For the scalloped edge below, I used the same Hello Autumn paper and my EK Success punch. This is an older punch and I'm not sure if it's still available but any scalloped punch would give a similar effect. I included a link below for a We R Memory Keepers punch. It's not exactly the same but gives a lace effect that resembles mine. Really pretty!

I added a little handwritten note. Sometimes I think, I don't love my handwriting but then I remember how much I love seeing my mom's handwriting on things. So ... I tell myself to get over it, lol. One day, I hope my kids (or in this case, Rylee) might love to see that personal touch.

I added lots of pretty embellishments from the Bits & Pieces and some Cozy Days Tags and I think these pages turned out great!

I hope you have fun scrapping your fall photos. For more information on the products used, click on the links below. Thanks for stopping by!

Wizard Magic, Harry Potter Inspired Scrapbook Album

Hey guys, happy Fri-YAY!! It's time for another awesome new album and today's is a Harry Potter inspired scrapbook of amazingness! It's called Wizard Magic and it's perfect for anyone who loves witchcraft, wizardry, magic and all things Harry Potter!

I have so many ideas for different pictures & memorabilia that can be saved in this so ... I made a list!

1. Let's start with the Potterheads!

Die-hard Harry Potter fans would love to fill this with pictures of friends, family, pets, etc. They don't care if the photos have anything to do with wizards. They just love Harry Potter and anything that relates to it! I mean, the theme is super cool and ... they're gonna love having it just sitting around as decor!

2. A trip to The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios!

This would be a great place to save all your fun photos from a trip to the sunshine state. The thrilling rides, the Hogwarts Express Train and the Butterbeer!

3. Save your magic memorabilia!

The handy pocket below would be great for saving extra pictures, movie ticket stubs, stickers, postcards, or the brochure or theme park map from your trip to Universal Studios.

4. How about pictures of an awesome Halloween costume!

Yes this would be perfect for Harry Potter costumes, but it would also work great for a witch, wizard, owl, ghost, dragon, serpent, troll or a spider!

5. What about a wizard-themed birthday party!

I know lots of kids, preteens, teens and college-aged students love Harry Potter. This album would be great for pictures of a full-on decorated birthday celebration with Potter themed balloons, streamers, games and activities or ... something more simple like a Harry Potter movie marathon & dinner!

6. A day or weekend at a comic book convention like Comic-Con!

So many people love to attend these events and get autographs, buy artwork or memorabilia and dress up in cosplay. Save your pictures with friends or celebrities right here and don't forget your tickets and autographs!

7. Documenting an amazing collection!

This would be a great place to save photos of your magic or wizard collectibles. Now-a-days people have enormous collections. Document them with photos of your figurines, comics, pins, books, mugs, posters, wands and t-shirts!

8. Pictures of a Quidditch game!

If you thought it was just a fictional sport played in Harry Potter, you'd be wrong! A real-life version of the game exists where players use brooms, but run instead of flying. I know ... who knew!? It's really popular with college-aged students.

So ... whether you have great Halloween photos of your littles dressed as witches and wizards or you're a huge Harry Potter fan, this album would be perfect for all your magical memories!

Don't forget the holidays are coming! This would make a great Christmas (or birthday) gift so shop early before they're all sold out. Thanks for stopping by. 😊

Holiday Cards for Pocket Scrapbooking

Hey scrappers! Today, I want to share some fun holiday pocket cards that I made recently. These are little cards (or works of art!) that are used in pocket scrapbooking.

For those of you who aren't familiar with this, it's simply a way to scrapbook using clear page protectors that are divided into a grid of smaller pockets. The pockets come in various sizes and can be arranged differently depending on the pages you purchase. You just add photos, journaling, memorabilia, or ... cards to each pocket and voila! You have a pretty scrapbook page!!

Here is an example of a Christmas pocket page I made using photos of my sweet nieces. The paper is from Bella Blvd's Fa La La collection (all products links below). #myniecesarethebomb 😍

This Christmas page is mostly photos but you can add more pocket cards if you like and even include one for journaling.

Next are some cards I created for Halloween. I used paper and embellishments from an older Doodlebug collection called Boos and Brews. Since these cards are small, they are a perfect way to use leftover scraps. You can use any supplies you have and just mix and match. Oh, the joys of being creative!

Here are some Thanksgiving / Fall pocket cards that I created using Doodlebug's Fall Friends Collection. The adorable little Doodle-pops are perfect for these cards and add a bit of dimension. You can see I also used borders from the fancy frills stickers, tons of odds and ends and even some sprinkles! Love those sprinkles ...

Look at these Christmas pocket cards! Oh my gosh, so cute and I made them with Doodlebug's Here Comes Santa Claus Collection. Tuck one of these next to a photo of the kiddos with Santa, decorating the tree, Christmas morning or love birds under the mistletoe and your page will look complete!

These cards make putting a page together super quick, easy and lots of fun! You can make a bunch of pocket cards in one scrapping session and also make them in advance. Then, when you're scrapping a particular event you'll already have some cards ready to use. So simple.

All of the pocket cards I've show you today are 4"x6" but they can be made in any size to fit your pocket. I've included product links below. Including 12x12 page protectors and 6x8 in case you'd like to work in a size that would fit my mini albums.

Also, if the above paper collections are still available, I linked them below. And underneath those, I added links to replacement collections so you can recreate these cards with similar products. Hope this gives you lots of inspiration!
