Gratitude Journal with Bella Blvd

Happy Saturday everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving!  Over the past decade, studies have shown that being thankful and simply writing down the things we are grateful for has awesome benefits like lower stress levels, better sleep, a greater sense of calm, fewer symptoms of illness and more happiness. Yessss ... I love all that!

So, for my latest Bella Blvd Design Team project I decided to make a gratitude journal. It's a pretty mini album that uses colorful Bella Blvd papers and those fun little Trinkets puffy stickers that I adore!

This album would be sweet filled with pictures of people you are thankful for. Maybe it's your significant other, mom, dad, sister, the littles or maybe a mentor. You could also fill it with fun selfies of you and your bestie and give it to them as a Christmas gift!

Making your own gratitude journal is a wonderful way to focus on the positive in our lives. With space to document the things we are grateful for, this is a beautiful reminder of what makes us happy in these relationships.

I started by using Lori Whitlock's Essential Mini Album die #661094 (link below). I loved the pretty shape of it and it's smaller size. I kept it simple by cutting the base of the album pages out of white card stock, then used Bella Besties and lined journal paper for the inset papers.

I also pulled some flower die cuts and patterned paper from the Bella Blvd Chloe Collection. I love the happy colors and playful designs. I plan to put 3x4 photos on the left side of each layout and journal about the things I'm thankful for on the right so I wanted it to be cheerful. And of course, I had to add some fun Trinkets stickers!

This would make a fun project for the kids during their upcoming time off from school. They would love picking out their own photos. And, not only does this help them focus on the positive things about people and recognize kindness, but it also makes a good writing opportunity. Win, win!

This would make a great Christmas gift for someone you're thankful to have in your life. Fill it with silly pictures of you and a co-worker, of your child and their teacher, or you and your parents and add your kind words. They would treasure this forever!

Try to carve out some fun creative time to scrap this busy holiday season and make some handmade presents! Check out the links below for all the products used in this project and thanks so much for stopping by today!

A New Christmas Album and Grandma's Brag Book

Happy Friday friends!  Fridays are exciting here at Artsy Albums because I always introduce a new kit!  Today is extra fun because I have TWO new kits to share with you!

First, a sweet little Grandma's Brag book called "You Are My Sunshine".  This darling 5"x7" album includes both acrylic and card stock pages, lots of cute Doodlebug and Bella Blvd embellishments, and spots for 22 photos.

Pictures of visiting grandma, baking or cooking Grandma's favorite recipes, playing games together, and lots of other special memories can be shared in this sweet album.

Bright happy colors go right along with the precious sunshine faces ... so cute!

The second album kit today is equally adorable!  Say hello to Santa in this precious 6"x8" album filled with Christmas cheer and lots of interactive flaps, pockets, and fold-out pages.

From the swirly "snow" on the roof, the shiny light sprinkles, and Santa popping out of the chimney, the cuteness does not disappoint on each and every page of this scrapbook.  Doodlebug's Night Before Christmas collection is adorable!

The first page has a folded tag card tucked into a pocket with the cutest little fireplace scene.  That puppy better get to sleep or Santa's going to fly right over that house without stopping :)

I think it would be SO cute to give the Dear Santa sheet (above) to a child so their handwriting is included in the album!

These album kits went on sale this morning and I have a feeling they may sell out today, or at least over the weekend so please order soon if you want them!  Consider giving Grandma the brag book filled with the little ones.  She will appreciate a handmade gift and cherish the photos! And the Santa album will be so cute sitting out each year to remember your 2020 Christmas!

Thanks SO much for stopping by the blog today!  Here are a few links of other places you can find me.  It helps me very much if you like, follow, pin, subscribe, etc!
