Hey scrappers! Today I'm sharing my latest Doodlebug Design Team project which you can also see on their blog here. If you'll remember, each month I create 4 pages for my granddaughter's album that highlight my favorite photos. I use this super cute 8x8 Doodlebug Storybook Album ... in pink, of course!
For my May pages, I used lots of colorful petite prints in Buffalo Check, Wood Grain and Linen. I also added the adorable Fairy Garden Collection. Perfect for all my spring and summer sweet little photos!
Since my April pages ended on the front of a 4x4 page protector, my new May layouts start on the back side. I used lots of colorful prints for each pocket and found pretty lilac Abigail alpha stickers for the May title. I love a scalloped circle so I added two with my 3.5" punch and sprinkled in some cute die cuts!
For the next page, I used the wood grain petite print in Bubblegum as the base. This pink color is my favorite and I think it's perfect with the wood stump that little miss pixie-cut is sitting on! Isn't she the cutest?! I added a 6x6 print, the lilac gingham, white card stock and adorable pieces from the Odds and Ends.
I love this page with the pretty plaid, the flower garland and those glitter sprinkles! It's so BEAUTIFUL!! I used the Buffalo Check and Linen prints in Swimming Pool for the base and some white card stock. I layered 2 colorful mats for my pictures using the wood grain in Bubblegum and the gorgeous Pixie Plaid. I mixed up the photo sizes for interest on this page, making the mats 3.5" x 2.5".
The "beautiful" and the flower garland are from the Chit Chat and underneath the flowers is the string lights banner from the Odds and Ends. And then ... the fun sprinkle dot party begun! I love them! Oh, this page makes me happy. The flowers, the colors, the glitter, the plaid ... just ... everything.
For my last page, I made space for 5 adorable little pics. Instead
of just sliding 4x6 photos into the pockets, I created some 4x6 insert
cards to hold smaller photos. I can't wait to add my photos of Rylee ...
she ALWAYS brightens my day!!
I used a mix of petite prints, 6x6 prints, 12x12 prints and die cuts from the Chit Chat. I hope you love these as much as I do. I've added all the product links below so you can replicate them!
