8x8 Crafty Scrapbook Pages for August

Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing my latest Doodlebug Design Team Project! On Monday, I shared my July pages for my granddaughters 8x8 storybook album. I was a little behind on posting those but I'm all caught up and now I have the August pages ready. As a reminder, each month I create 4 pages for Rylee's album that highlight our time together. At the end of the year, I will have an amazing album! 💕

For this month's layouts I used the Cute & Crafty collection. I always use the month as a title for my first page so for August, I used the Sunshine alphabet stickers in swimming pool and a few pretty flower sprinkles.

We love crafting together. She's 4 so just imagine her in my scrapbook room with all my stickers, lol! This collection works great with everyday photos and ... her first day of school! Oh my gosh, where did the summer go?!

I've been patiently waiting to use that little grinning DoodlePop camera and today was the day! Oh, he makes me so happy! And the cute red striped heart is from the Chit Chat.

For the next page, I used a clear divided 4x4 pocket sleeve. A few school related Odds and Ends, Chit Chat and colorful papers made this a super cute page for her 1st day! I also added a 3x3 pink envelope to hold a journaling tag for the date, teacher's name and all of the details.

I changed out the alphabet stickers on this page and used My Type. The smaller size was perfect. Then ... a few more shiny flower sprinkles. Love them!

For page 3, I mixed some 12x12 papers with a few from the 6x6 paper pad. I used the
green tag and yellow circle from the new Bits and Pieces and stickers from the This and That to add fun shapes to this mostly square design.

The adorable little black camera is an icon sticker with foam tape on the back for a bit of dimension. I can't wait to add Rylee's cutie patootie pics to this page!

The last page for August needed space for journaling so I added a card from the Happy Thoughts paper.

I love the cute bubblegum pink gingham from the journaling card so, I added another fun tag from the bits and pieces to match! A little bit of twine and a few die cuts and this page is "cute as a button"!
