Hey guys! The 4th of July 🇱🇷 is almost here and I'm so excited for the weekend. I love having the family over and celebrating with some good food, a few cocktails, and some amazing fireworks. So
with the holiday in mind, I decided to make a 12x12 layout of my
grandlittles for a some patriotic inspiration. ❤️
I designed this with the colorful Doodlebug Design, Land That I Love Collection and the Fireworks cutting file by Michaels that I found in the Silhouette Design Store (links below).
I
started with the 12x12 Having A Blast paper for the base and
layered the Seeing Stars paper on top. I thought the fireworks would be fun cut out of simple white card stock with the colorful pattern papers showing through. Then in the upper left corner, I added the July, 4th, hearts, and stars from the Odds & Ends die cuts.
I sprinkled lots of mini jewels around the fireworks for a little sparkle. I don't use them very often, but I should! They're so pretty! Oh, and the Blessed tab is from the This and That.
I just love the little firecrackers in the corner. Two are die cuts from the Odds & Ends and the blue one is an icon sticker. Isn't everything just cuter when Doodlebug puts a face on it, lol?!
Thanks for stopping by the blog. I hope this project gives you a little Independence Day inspiration. Below are the links for the products used in this layout and ... have a great day! 😊
