Stamping Technique on Handmade Cards

Hey friends! This past Saturday was World Card Making day, so today I'm sharing a few pretty cards I made. The weekend brought cooler weather here in Georgia and I was happy to stay warm inside making a simple fall project. This pumpkin card was fun and very easy! Keep scrolling to see my dress/fashion card.

I used an A2 white card stock base for my card and layered a 4" x 5.25" piece of Carta Bella Fall Market paper for my background.  I love all of the pretty colors in this paper!

I stamped my pumpkin image twice ... once on the yellow wheat paper, and once on a piece of orange dot (all papers are from the Fall Market collection).  If anyone knows the name or manufacturer of this stamp set, please leave it in the comments for me!  I've had this set for quite a while and lost the original packaging.

I cut out just the pumpkin portion of the orange dot image, and adhered it over the same image on the yellow paper, and voila! I had a pattern pumpkin :). I'm not a huge fan of fussy cutting, so I picked an easy image to trim.  Scroll down for another example of this fun technique.

I found this card in my handmade card file and I think I probably made it 10+ years ago when I worked at Archivers. I have no idea about the maker of the stamp. The paper is part of Basic Grey's Sweet Threads Collection and that specific paper is called Ruffled Mini. Loved that paper!

Fashion Handmade Card with Stamping Technique & a girl in a dress

I used the same technique .... stamped the girl on white, on solid orange, and on the pattern paper and then cut the dress and wrap out and adhered them to the white.  Fun, right? Until next time, happy crafting!!
