NEW! Happy Camper 2 Scrapbook Album

Hi friends! It's Funday Friday and I have a brand new 6x6 inch mini album for you titled Happy Camper. I designed this with the Carta Bella, Outdoor Adventures Collection and it's perfect for saving photos and souvenirs from your nature inspired adventures! Take a look ...

To purchase the instructions for this album visit:

There’s nothing quite like the stillness and serenity of the great outdoors. The further away you get from civilization and your daily routine, the more relaxed your life can seem. Breath in the fresh air, smell the pine trees, let the sun warm your face and listen to the sound of the birds ... ahhhh nature.

And speaking of nature, what do you think of the scene on this fold-out page? Doesn't it look like an awesome paint by numbers? I absolutely LOVE it!! 💗

Whether it's a trip to a lake, a weekend of camping, hiking in a national park, fishing, canoeing or white water river rafting ... my album highlights your photos beautifully!

There are pockets for souvenirs that you've collected along the way like park maps, postcards, brochures, travel stickers, tickets, matchbook covers, etc. Your photos and memorabilia help to preserve the memories of the places you've visited and the adventures you've had.

I love the traditional feel of this collection. The papers are designed with travel stickers, pennants, road signs and maps. There's even a wood-paneled station wagon and pop-up camper! Who's vacationed in one of those? Sound like fun! All of these elements make a great backdrop for your outdoor photos.

So many outdoor activities and so little time! Here are some fun daytime activities to document in this album: backpacking or hiking, tubing down the river, bike riding, swimming, picking wild flowers, reading (or napping!) in a hammock, rock climbing, playing horseshoe, a ropes course, kayaking, fishing, making mud pies or climbing trees.

And at night: build a campfire, cook hot dogs, roast marshmallows, make s'mores, lay out a giant blanket and stargaze, take the canoe out for an evening paddle, tell ghost stories, play flashlight tag or catch fireflies.

Is the wilderness your happy place? Then go exploring, find new adventure, visit a park and enjoy nature! And all along the way, be sure to take pictures and save them in my Happy Camper Album.

Not a fan of the outdoors? That's ok! This would make a wonderful handmade gift for someone who loves it. And btw ... it could be perfect for Father's Day. Just sayin'. 😉

Update: This kit has sold out but the instructions are available in my shop. They are simple, step-by-step, and include full color photos of each page. Links for the instructions and the products used are below. Happy scrappin'!

Squeeze the Day Scrapbook Photo Crate

Helloooo scrappers! Today felt like a Throwback Thursday kind of day so I'm re-sharing a fun project I made last spring. It's a photo album crate I made using the Bella Blvd Squeeze the Day Collection and a 4x6 inch 7 Gypsies crate (links below). There are lots of cute shapes, file folders and tags on the inside that hold my favorite photos and ... it looks great sitting out!

To read how I made this, click here to go to my original post. And if you just want some fun ideas for this cute, summer inspired photo crate ... read on! 😊

I love these little fruit shaped "pages" and while I added pictures of my sweet granddaughter, wouldn't it be fun to add vacation photos to this crate? This Squeeze the Day Collection makes me think of fruity drinks by the pool, island getaways and tropical beaches! 🌞

Or ... you could fill this with photos from a cute summer birthday party? You could include memorabilia like invitations, birthday cards, small party favors or napkins. Since this is a crate instead of a flat album, you have a little more freedom.

This would also make a great gift for Mother's Day, a birthday or for grandparents. It's a really interesting conversation piece to have sitting out, to share with friends when they come over to visit. Fill it with wonderful family pictures and they will certainly have bragging rights!

You could make this photo crate all about your beloved pet! Imagine flipping through these index cards and seeing cute pics of your favorite furry face!

I love this idea of an unconventional photo album. The "pages" can be lifted out and come in different shapes and sizes. There are lots of colorful papers, twine and those cute bow clips!!! It looks like a little party poppin' out the top of the crate! So cute and so interactive. I love it!

I hope you'll give this project a try. It was so fun to make! Below are all the product links. Happy scrappin'!

Fairy Calendar with Doodlebug

Hey guys! I don't know about you but sometimes ... I have no idea what day it is, lol! I get busy with work, my sweet grandkids, the move, the house and before I know it, I've lost track! Or maybe I've lost my mind, I'm not quite sure anymore. So! I created a cute little photo calendar to hang in my scrapbook room as a gentle reminder of what day it is. 😂

I used Doodlebug's Fairy Garden Collection and a ring binder clipboard from American Crafts by Maggie Holmes but, you could use any clipboard. Won't this be pretty hanging in my scrapbook room?!

I really love the cover. I used paper from the 6x6 paper pack and the cutest little Doodlepops - Bug Babies and Fairy House. The pink mushroom house is precious with it's tiny "welcome" sign and pink glitter door knob! I added a few dies from the Odds and Ends, trim from the This and That and some cute Doodlebug numbers. Perfect!

I started each page with a 5"x7" sheet of white cardstock and I printed the 3"x5" calendars from HERE. Then I just had fun decorating the rest of the pages with lots of cute mini icon stickers and 6x6 prints that make beautiful mats for my photos.

I also added some fancy frills stickers here and there like the green scalloped one above. It's from the Simply Spring This and That but the others are from the Fairy Garden collection.

This plaid paper is one of my favorites. Those colors are gorgeous! So I'll probably leave a slightly larger border of it showing around my picture. Doesn't it look great next to the rainbow hearts?! And ... I am loving the little fairy.

You can write notes and reminders on the calendar but I'll probably just use this to glance at the days of the week ... and the sweet photos I plan to add. 💗

The striped scalloped sticker is from the Fairy Garden This and That. Looks cute with the colorful mushrooms, don't you think?

You could make this calendar in any size and with whatever scrapbook supplies you have. You could make every month a different theme depending on the season, holiday or month. Or, just stick to one collection like I did. Either way, it will look pretty on your wall and it's super practical!

Oooo, I love that flower print above too! It's so fun to play with such pretty papers and stickers!!

I hope this gives you some great inspiration to make a calendar for yourself. I've included the product links below. What a cute way to stay up-to-date!

Hey Cupcake Scrapbook Page Layout

Hey friends! I have the cutest new layout to share with you today and it's full of yummy sprinkles and cupcake fun! I think it would be perfect for pictures of a birthday, a trip to the bakery, making homemade cupcakes or any "sweet" photo of someone you love! 💗

Cupcake Scrapbook Layout By Artsy Albums

I made this 8.5"x11" page layout with Doodlebug's Made with Love Collection. I really wanted to highlight the adorable icon and shaped sprinkle stickers so my inspiration was literally, sprinkles on a cupcake! 🧁

I started with some 12x12 prints. I used the striped paper called Apron Strings as my base and layered the pistachio plaid (Cupcake Cuties) and the yellow polka dot (Dab of Butter) on top. I added the pistachio rick rack sticker from the This and That where to 2 prints met.

I found a Doodlebug cutting file called "Cupcakes" from the Made With Love Collection to create my sweet treat and I knew it had be front and center. I used Cinnamon Hearts, Petite Prints Linen in Kraft, and simple white cardstock.

I made a spot for a photo or ... you could add your favorite cupcake recipe!! How cute! I matted this space with the Cinnamon Hearts, added some pretty flowers from the Odds and Ends and the "love" tab from the This and That.

Now for my favorite part ... the SPRINKLES!! I added lots of shaped sprinkle and icon stickers to the icing. These are so adorable. I love the shine on them! The different kitchen tools, the teeny tiny cookies, the colorful hearts and the fact that they have little smiling faces, cracks me up!

I added some other fun embellishments around the page like the Hey Cupcake title from the Chit Chat and the jars of sprinkles and icing bag from the Odds and Ends.
