July 4th Acrylic Album with Doodlebug

Hello friends! Today, I'm sharing a super cute July 4th mini album I made. I recently traveled to Southport NC to visit my family and after that fun weekend, I knew exactly what my next project would be. I grew up spending summers celebrating the 4th of July in this wonderfully small, southern town so ... I was inspired to create an all American mini.

To purchase the instructions to make this album visit:

For over 220 years, July 4th has been a big part of Southport's history. Their celebrations were first recorded in 1795! They always have a really fun parade, an arts and crafts festival, food trucks, live music, an antique car show and an amazing fireworks display over the Cape Fear River. With the city's population being under 4,000 ... everyone knows everyone and it's such a great event. I loved spending time in the summer there as a kid and celebrating the 4th with my cousins. 💗

I created this mini with Doodlebug's, Land That I Love Collection. It's been a hot minute since I made an acrylic album so, I used 6"x6" clear covers for the front and back and all the red, white, and blue cuteness on the inside.

This folding page is awesome! It's perfect for photos of a fireworks display in the park, a smaller version of your own in the neighborhood or celebrating with sparklers! I love all the fun prints. So colorful!

It has space for photos of a BBQ, bike riding and playing outdoor games.

We can't forget the pocket. No Artsy Album would be complete without one. Inside I've added journaling cards to document the day or to use as photo mats.

A hot air balloon ride would be an amazing activity for the holiday weekend. It's different and a great way to celebrate the holiday with family and friends.

However you chose to celebrate this day, I hope you have fun!
