Santa Countdown Christmas Card - Nov. Blog Hop with Lori Whitlock

Hi friends! Today is Lori Whitlock's November Blog Hop and my blog is the first stop on the hop so be sure to hop back over to Lori's site too because she has a sale, a giveaway and an awesome freebie for you!

For my project, I created an adorable Christmas card just in time for the holiday season. I used one of Lori Whitlock's super cute cutting files called Step Card Christmas Countdown. (All product links below)

I used the Echo Park, Lumberjack Christmas Collection and I think it turned out great! I can't wait to give this to someone. The festive plaid paper is called Jolly and it's perfect for this project.

I love the idea of sitting this on a table in your foyer or on an office desk, counting  down the days 'till Christmas. Now that Halloween has passed, I'm ready to start listening to Christmas music and decorating!

For the little gifts, I used the back side of the double sided paper, 4x6 journal cards. It's a really pretty small print of holly and greenery. And for the other, I used a black and white plaid called Santa Sleigh.

To finish it off, I added brightly colored enamel dots for the tree ornaments, one on Santa's hat and one for the "i" in the Christmas title. I love it! I hope you have fun with this little card. I sure did!

You can find the digital cutting file, "Step Card Christmas Countdown" over on Lori's shop with the link below. If you want to see a tutorial for this card click HERE.

And while you're hopping through all of the creative team's fun projects, don't forget about the other fun things Lori has for you today!

  2. I purchased the SVG cut file to use with my Cricut. I opened it and the entire grouped file came out as 3.781x3.53. Are these the right dimensions? TIA!
