12x12 Autumn Layout with Doodlebug Pumpkin Spice #1

Hello Doodlebug friends! Is it just me or is pumpkin spice everywhere? I love it! There's pumpkin spice lattes, ice cream, cereal, yogurt, oatmeal, lip balm, candy, bologna (yeah, you heard me), toothpaste and ... wait for it ... pumpkin spice deodorant. Who knew?!

So, I'm happy to say I'm adding a little pumpkin spice to my blog! Today, I'm sharing page 1 of a double-page layout using Doodlebug's new Pumpkin Spice Collection. You can see page 2 here.

This page was perfect for some family pics that we took during a fun day at the park. I used the new Buffalo Check paper in Kraft as a base, added white card stock and then created a mat for my photos using the Kraft Wood Grain paper.

Now for the fun details! Um, how cute is that mushroom border?! I love that they all look like they're standing at attention, lol! That had to be on my page so, I ran it across the bottom and to balance the top, I added a scalloped striped sticker from the This and That sheet.

This would be a great page for a hay ride, a nature hike, a visit to an apple orchard, pictures of an afternoon baking a pumpkin pie, roasting marshmallows, or a campfire in the backyard with friends.

And btw ... love that adorable Doodle-Pops fox sitting on my chit chat title and those tiny shiny mushrooms! So cute!

You know I love my sprinkles so I added tiny dots around the corners for a little zip and those adorable leaves ... well, just because they make me happy. This page would be really cute for pictures of the kiddos jumping in a pile of leaves!

Whether it's outdoor fun with friends or family time inside hope this gave you a bit of autumn inspiration. For everyone who likes two-page spreads, please check back for the companion page in a few weeks. Thanks for stopping by!
