Bunny Hop Mini Album and Box with Doodlebug

Hi my sweet friends! Today, I'm sharing my newest Doodlebug Design Team Project and it's perfect for the Easter holiday. I've been decorating my house and I love having my Easter mini albums sitting out. So, this year I'm adding something new. It's a super cute Easter box with a mini album tucked inside! 

I designed this with the adorable Bunny Hop collection and a 5x7 inch Graphic 45 Staples Tag Album Book Box in Kraft that I had in my stash. 

 

To make it ... I started by covering all sides in white card stock then, the May Flowers bubblegum paper. For the sides, I added the Springtime Stripe and strips of the eggs and flowers from the Hippity Hoppity paper. Then, I embellished with the cute little Colored Eggs shape sprinkles (all product links below).

With all of the cute Odds & Ends, Chit Chat, and Bit & Pieces in this collection, it was easy to create a fun little scene on the top of the box. I added lots of embellies with the Easter assortment jewels and the Hello Spring shape sprinkles. Love it!

Inside the box I added more pattern paper and some bits & pieces, then ... created a little mini album with the 12x12 acetate called Easter Dots. I love an album with transparent covers!

I folded the acetate to create a 4x6 mini album with a 1 inch spine. I attached the inside pages by tying twine around 2 punched holes on the spine (similar to the binding in a travelers notebook). For the cover, I punched a 3" scalloped circle out of white card stock and a 2.5" circle out of the pink Everything Easter print, then added the Blooming Basket Shaker Pops. So cute. 

On the inside of the front cover, I added the sweet little round bunny and egg sticker from the This & That sheet. And for the 4x6 pages, I covered them with 3x4 cards, cute pattern papers from the 6x6 pad, more die cuts, and some smaller mini icon stickers.

There is room for larger photos too. On this page, I created a photo mat with the 6x6 Easter Basket plaid, white card stock, and a pretty flower piece. Remember to adhere the die cuts to the mat at the bottom only so you can slide your photos in behind them.

I can't wait to add this year's Easter photos to this little album. Besides this cute mini, you can also use the box to store memorabilia like greeting cards, notes, a cute drawing from your little, or the church program from Easter Sunday.
