Happy Good Friday! The Easter weekend is here and I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday. Today, I have a new kit in the shop titled "It Was Always You" and it is gorgeous. I designed this with a 6x8 inch Simple Stories Flipbook in whitewashed wood and the Simple Vintage Love Story Collection. It has beautiful watercolor images of butterflies, flowers, a vintage typewriter, journal, pocket watch, postage stamps, hearts, books, vintage camera, a wax stamp, wax seals, a calligraphy pen, and more!
Inside, the album has 20 pages that include 2 pockets, 4 interactive flippies, and space for at least 50 photos. Above is one of the flippies made with the "our story" card. Check out those pretty pastel colors.
Here is one of the pockets, covered in flowers and a sweet sentiment. I added a few tags inside that are perfect for journaling or ... use them as photo mats.
I can imagine this album being filled with lots of different photos, but let's start with documenting you and your partner's love story! Add photos of your very first picture taken together, first date, fun adventures, birthdays, engagement, wedding, holidays, and meaningful moments.
Since this album has a sweet "love" theme that is not romantic, you could also add photos of your family, children, grandchildren, best friends, or anyone that is special to you.
What about spring and Easter? With all these butterflies, flowers, and pastel colors ... I'd say, definitely!
It would make a beautiful handmade gift for Mother's Day filled with photos of her and your dad's life together, vintage photos of HER parents' marriage, or pictures of the grandlittles. If she loves doing crafts, give her the kit instead and let her create the magic herself.
