Hi guys!
Today, I'm sharing my latest Bella Blvd Design Team project. This month we were
given a pretty summer mood board for inspiration and when I saw it, I knew
exactly what papers to use with the theme and that cheerful color story.🌞
I figured I'd make a cute 6"x6" mini album. I used white chipboard for the covers and mixed a bunch of cute patterned papers from the Splash Zone and Bella Besties collections. Then I added in ephemera and stickers from the Splash Zone, Squeeze the Day & Wish Big collections.
I
was drawn to the blues, yellows and reds on this inspiration piece,
especially the yellow square over the blue stripes. It felt like
sunshine over water to me so I went with that on my cover using the striped paper called Daily Details and some ephemera and chipboard stickers.
Since
the mood board had a rainbow design, I wanted to add several rainbow
patterns in my album. I fell in love with the heart die cut from the
Splash Zone ephemera words and used that on my first page.
I added another rainbow pattern down the side of this page, and kept the water theme going with the cute splash paper.
The
rainbow on the mood board isn't curved, so I wanted the colored
patterns on this page to have a more rectangular, edgy feel. The
cute little word stickers and ephemera added a colorful finishing touch.
This
page might be my favorite. I was inspired by the round ice
cream scoops and I love ice cream!! I found these colorful die cut circles in the Wish Big
ephemera and used them to surround a 2 1/4" circular photo mat. Cute!
