10 NEW Scrapbook Album Instructions

Hello my friends! Today, I'm sharing 10 new scrapbook instructions that are in my shop now. Five of these include the measurements and five are a bit older and do not, so you'll need to estimate photo mat and paper sizing for these. Each listing will tell you whether they include the measurements or not.

ALL of my instructions are simple, step-by-step, and include full color photos and a complete materials list. Anyone can recreate these projects with their own supplies, making them a GREAT opportunity to use up your awesome stash!

NEW! Crafty Stuff Scrapbook Album Kit

Hello crafty friends! Today, I'm giving you a peek into this week's cute new mini album kit that will be in my shop on Friday. It's titled Crafty Stuff and it's so, so pretty! It's filled with pastel colors, gold foil accents, flowers, and lots of familiar craft supplies. This scrapbook is perfect for saving all your creative memories!

Crafty Stuff Scrapbook Instructions

I designed this with the Simple Stories, Crafty Things Collection (links below) and I love it. It has a beautiful and happy color palette of pink, yellow, orange, aqua, mint green, and lavender. There are images of scissors, washi tape, cameras, markers, buttons, a typewriter, paint supplies, and more. 

Also, did you notice in the photo above how cute it looks sitting out on my Acrylic Display Stand? After spending the time to create these little masterpieces, you should proudly show them off. 💕

I also used a white 6.5 x 8.5 inch 49 and Market Foundations 2" Portrait Chipboard Album. I made my Easy Breezy Album with this and it has a bunch of super fun elements. 

On the cover, I added lots of "crafty stuff", lol! There are pretty flowers, buttons, and a cute floral Polaroid camera. The title has an outline of gold foil so it shimmers. And ... what girl doesn't love a little gold sparkle?

Inside, there are 8 interactive scrapbook pages that include 2 fold-out pages, 1 pocket, 4 flippies, and space for at least 34 photos. AND, check out the cute element above! It's has a tie closure, it's covered in a colorful paper with embroidery hoops, and inside ...

... there are 4 pretty waterfall pages! Love, love, love!

This album is perfect for photos of crafty time with friends whether it's at home, a weekend crop, a scrapbook expo, or a retreat. Take pictures, share ideas, swap supplies, and maybe enjoy a glass of wine! 😉

How many of us have said "I could totally make that"? Oh I have, for sure. Probably a thousand times! Some of the other sayings in the album are ... crafting forever cleaning whenever, make pretty things, create crop craft, and create something amazing today.

Farm Tiered Scallop Mini Album

Hello scrappers! Today I'm sharing my latest Lori Whitlock Design Team Project. It's a cute farm themed mini album that has layered waterfall pages with pretty scallop edges. It's fun shape and smaller size makes this a perfect keepsake for some of your favorite moments, or ... an udderly, farm-tastic gift idea! 😉

To create this, I used a Doodlebug Design paper collection and one of Lori's amazing cutting files called Tiered Album Scallop. She's created 10 of these tiered albums with different edges and they're all so much fun. To see my other projects that use them and the product links for today's project, see below.

To start, I cut the 5 scalloped pages out of white cardstock then covered them in colorful prints that I cut slightly smaller than the base. To do this, I created an inset for the pattern paper. Layering the papers like this makes the pages super sturdy.

On the front cover, I used a 6x6 print that's filled with colorful little flowers and added a die cut for the title.

Just inside ... an adorable cow and a word bubble with scallop shapes framing them overhead. 

On the next page, I added a flippie with a cute barn scene. These folding cards double your photo space so they're great for mini albums. And check out those fun layered pages! Love.

Another space saver is a pocket. I fussy cut this one from a patterned paper but you could make a simple square one out of cardstock. These are perfect for journaling cards, extra photos, or small memorabilia.

I coordinated each of the double page layouts so that the backside of the smaller page matches the front side of the larger one. Notice the cow print above next to the little individual cows. They're so cute together!

Throughout the album, I mixed and matched 6x6 inch and 12x12 inch papers. I think the variety of sizes makes the pages more interesting.

This egg-cellant little scrapbook would be perfect for pictures of a fun day at the farm, a farmer's market, a themed birthday party, a school field trip, a petting zoo, or for anyone who just loves a farm theme!

You could also add photos of a new baby, a nursery, or a themed baby shower. Wouldn't this make a super cute brag book for mom, grandma, an aunt, or a god-parent?

This album can be made with ANY theme or paper collection and would make such a unique gift idea.

AND ... don't forget the Acrylic Display Stand (seen above) to show off your amazing and creative work!

NEW! Boo-tiful Night Halloween Scrapbook Album Kit

Hey everyone! Doodlebug's latest Halloween collection is in the house and this week's NEW kit is so fun and super colorful. Boo-tiful Night Scrapbook Instructions

I designed this with a 6x8 inch black Simple Stories binder and the adorable Hey Pumpkin Collection by Doodlebug Design. Ohhhh, the cuteness! There are ghosts, candy, cats, flowers, pumpkins, and spiders. Its vibrant colors of orange, pink, yellow, and lime green just pop against the black. It's Halloween perfection.

On the cover, I created a festive scene with lots of fun die cuts, but ... it's the Halloween Night Doodle-pops that gets most of the attention. I love this little ghost with its adorable pink glasses!

Inside, there are 28 colorful scrapbook pages that include 2 fold-out pages, 2 pockets, 9 flippies, and space for at least 70 photos. I told you it was big ... it's loaded with goodies.

So many cute stickers, die cuts, whimsical patterns, and creative ways to save your memories. Above, I added some adorable stickers to the pink fold-out page. Then, I created a flippie with space inside for 2 pictures and added a journaling card on top for notes.

Here is one of the clear page protectors with 4x6 photo mats tucked inside. Check out the colorful candy and flower die cuts I added to the edge! When the album is closed, they look really cute sticking out the top.

I love this rainbow pocket. It's ideal for saving a party invitation, a wrapper from your favorite candy, or tickets to a carnival, haunted house, or fall festival. I've also added a bunch of fun journaling cards / photo mats.

This scrapbook can hold tons of fun memories from a visit to the pumpkin patch, to decorating the front yard with spider webs, fall wreaths, skeletons, and tombstones.

Add photos of a Halloween party, carving pumpkins, baking holiday treats, making Halloween crafts, or creating this Boo-tiful Night Halloween Scrapbook Album with friends! Yesssss, that one. 😉

What about photos from a fall festival, a carnival, or a holiday event at a theme park? Include pictures of the rides, haunted house, face painting, a corn maze, hay ride, or the ghoulish sweet treats.

I love this little 1/2 page with the bright rainbow tag, black and white twine, and the cute Hocus Pocus folding card. That witch is sooo cute!

I've added lots of journaling spots to this scrapbook. If you're not sure what to write on them, simply add the dates, names, event, or locations. 

But if you love to tell the stories behind the photos, you could talk about ... 

• why you chose that pumpkin from the pumpkin patch
  
• what your favorite ride is at the carnival
  
• what you did at the Halloween party
  
• how scary the haunted house was
  
• what your favorite Halloween treat is
  
• what you love most about your costume

• or ... what your favorite Halloween memory is

The little cupcake sticker above with the tiny cat head on top made me laugh! Oh ... sometimes it's the little things in life, ya know? 😂 This new Doodlebug collection is just plain fun, colorful, and happy. It's sure to put a smile on your face, too!
