Christmas Holiday Gift Tags

Hello crafters! Today, I'm sharing a project that I made for Lori's Whitlock's blog and it's something we all use this time of year - gift tags! They're simple, so much fun to make, and add a sweet little handmade touch to your presents. They're also a quick craft project if you're short of time this holiday season.

Christmas Handmade Gift Tags

I used Lori's Essential Christmas Tag Bundle cutting file
and it's awesome. There 12 are designs to choose from and I love them all however, you can purchase them separately (product links below).

Handmade Christmas Tree Gift Tag

The Christmas tree tag might be my favorite. I added lots of enamel dots in a variety of sizes for the ornaments and included some yellow twine at the top.

Handmade Snowman Gift Tag

The snowman is so handsome with his plaid scarf and top hat. You could use this one any time during the winter season ... like for a birthday, thank you, get well, or thinking of you.

Handmade Gift Tag with present

Tie these colorful tags to a gift bag, a bottle of wine, a basket of goodies,
a wrapped box, or maybe a plant or poinsettia you're giving someone.

You can also use these in your scrapbooking. Add them to a page for decoration or use the backside for journaling or as a photo mat for small pictures.

Handmade Snowflake Gift Tag

I chose a plain textured card stock for my tags but patterned papers would look great too. Add rhinestones, stickers, die cuts or any embellishment. Have fun with these!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you’ll visit Lori’s shop for more amazing craft ideas. Happy holidays!

Joys of Winter Scrapbook Album By Artsy Albums

To purchase the instructions for this album visit:

I designed this with a 6x8 robin's egg blue Simple Stories binder and the wonderful Simple Stories, Winter Woods Collection. It has a pretty color palette with cool icy blues, soft taupe, pretty rose, and winter whites.

Winter Scrapbook Album with acrylic snowflake embellishments

Did you notice I added 3 white acrylic snowflakes to the cover? I made these custom embellishments and I love how they and the little brads add some dimension to the front.

Winter Scrapbook Album Page with journaling card

This album has 12 pages that include 3 pockets, 1 fold-out page, 3 flippies, and an additional 7 divided page protectors, giving you space for at least 60 photos!

It's elegant, a bit more sophisticated, and has beautiful images of winter landscapes, birds, deer, snowflakes, wood grain patterns, plaids, stripes and polka dots.

December Blog Hop with Lori Whitlock

Hello everyone! Today is Lori Whitlock's December Blog Hop and my blog is the first stop on the hop. But be sure to visit Lori's site because she has a sale and an awesome freebie for you!

For my project today, I created two Christmas gift card holders using a few of Lori's cutting files. They're called A2 Hugger Gift Card Holder, Elf and Santa (links below) and the file includes the envelopes too!

What a great way to present someone with a gift card. These are cute and so much fun to make. The envelopes are 4.25" x 5.5" and I love the metallic bows.

I added a small magnet under the Elf's collar and Santa's beard and a second one under the gold metallic ribbon. These secure everything and keep the gift cards from sliding around. Tilt the head back and ...

... the front of the card flips down to reveal the gift!! There's plenty of blank space inside so you could write a thoughtful message, add embellishments, or add a photo.

There's even a pretty scalloped tag on the backside for the To and From. I've add a quick video below to show you more ...

There are more inspiring projects to see today so be sure to hop to each blog for lots of great ideas!
