Hi Doodlebug friends! It's Traci and I'm so excited to be sharing my Color Me Crafty project with you today! This brand new collection is so bright and fun, and I caught myself smiling the entire time I was making my mini album!
For this mini, I used one of my 4.5" x 6.5" Tall acrylic albums in white. I used the 6x8 paper from the collection and several of the card sheets. For the cover, I added the adorable plaid (Perfectly Plaid) paper to the front and layered an acrylic bracket that fits the Crafty Life sticker perfectly. A camera from the Odds & Ends, and the Tools of the Trade Doodle-Pops finished up my cover. So cute!
I love the little polaroid photos that are in the Odds & Ends pack so I had to add them to the first page ... and the green tab is from the Bits & Pieces pack -- adorable!
For the pocket in my mini, I used the light sprinkle paper (Happy Dots) so that everything I tucked into the pocket would pop with color. I tucked in some of the larger Odds & Ends, and one of the 3x4 cards, and finished this page with the Crop title from the Chit Chat.
I just love this page. The stripe is so colorful and then that die cut cluster at the bottom of the page is too cute! I added another tab from the bits & pieces to this page and love how the album looks with all of them lined up down the side.
To highlight this 3x4 card, I used pop dots to add a die cut coffee cup over the one printed on the card. It given the card some dimension and the pretty flower and leaves (Garden of Color Shape Sprinkles) give the card some shine.
Isn't this colorful page fun? I used more Chit Chat pieces here and can't wait to tuck a fun crafty picture behind the embellishments.
One of the last pages in my album is another pocket. The die cut that I tucked inside is one of my favorites ... it looks like an open 6x8 scrapbook album! I think I'll add a small photo to the back :).
Well that's my project for today and I hope it inspires you to create something fun with the new Color Me Crafty collection! I'll try to post a flip-through on my socal media pages soon!
