12x12 Feelin Frosty Layout

Hello friends! We finally got to see some snow here in Georgia! It wasn't a lot but it was so beautiful. It covered the ground and the trees and it looked like a peaceful winter wonderland. So, I was inspired to create this pretty 12x12 layout.

I made this with the Simple Stories, Feelin' Frosty collection and I love the pink and green colors. It's a little more unique for winter, don't you think? For the base, I used black card stock and layered on the Winter Days plaid print. Then I added a smaller sheet of white card stock. (All product links below.)

I created 2 photo mats at the top with a few polka dot prints. The "Let it Snow" card is from the 4x6 elements and then ... I added the goodies! The cute pink mittens and the snowflakes (card stock and acrylic) are die cuts from Doodlebug's Winter Wonderland Odds and Ends and the blue twine is also Doodlebug.

I thought the snowmen were precious so I cut those out of a 4x4 elements card with a pair of scissors. Then I added a few clear Doodlebug jewels on the snowflakes for a bit of winter sparkle!

On the right side, I added a few more pretty pattern papers. You could use these for photos, journaling or leave them blank and let the cute winter trees get all the attention!

Barn Shaped Farm Scrapbook with Simple Stories

Happy Friday everyone! We've had a great week at Artsy Albums and I'm excited to share my latest mini album kit. This fun scrapbook is called Down on the Farm and it's shaped like a cute little red barn. I made a kit similar to this one years ago that was really popular so, I figured it might be time for a new one!

I designed this with the Simple Stories, Homegrown Collection and a custom black acrylic barn shaped mini album that I made that measures approx. 8x10 inches.

If you grew up on a farm or live on one now, this would be a sweet place to save some of your childhood memories or the new ones you're creating today. Add photos of your beautiful property, your favorite animals, and time spent with family and friends.

It would also be wonderful for an afternoon at the farmer's market, a school field trip, a farm themed birthday party or a baby shower!

What about a day, picking your own fruits and vegetables? Not only do you get to enjoy nature and sunshine but you'll also go home with the freshest produce ever! Great family activity.

 

The album has 12 scrapbook pages (6 double-sided) that are 8x6 and include 2 pockets, 1 fold-out page, 4 flippies, and space for 30 photos

Above, is one of the fun little flippies and ... how cute and colorful is that quilt print? Love it!

12x12 Popcorn Scrapbook Page Layout

Hey scrappers, today is National Popcorn Day! I'm a big fan of popcorn so when I found this sweet photo of Rylee, it reminded me of some special moments we shared together. A 12x12 page was the perfect project and the Doodlebug, Fun at the Park Collection had just what I needed. ✨More popcorn project links below. 

When I use to pick Rylee up from preschool, we'd always come home and make popcorn for an afternoon snack. We'd sit in front of the TV with our little popcorn boxes on our laps and talk about our day. I loved those sweet moments and I still think of her every time I eat popcorn, so of course ... I had to document it!

 

To create this layout, I used black card stock as the base then layered Doodlebug's Tea-rrific Time print and white card stock on top. I cut a strip of Mini Dot to run vertically down the page and added 2 tiny bands of Goofy Stripe on either side (product links below).

The colorful banner is a die cut from the Chit Chat and I sprinkled some little enamel dots in between each flag. I love it.

I made a mat for Rylee's photo with another piece of black card stock. The popcorn tab on the top her picture and the cute "I love this" arrow are both stickers from the This and That sticker sheet.

I made sure to include a bit of journaling about our popcorn snack time. Then, I added the adorable What's Poppin' Doodle-pops from the So Much Pun Collection and some fun die cuts from the Odds & Ends.

I hope this layout reminds you to document even the little moments .. because, they're really not little. They are what life is all about. Lots of little moments while your waiting for something big to happen.🥰

Lots of Love Heart Shaped Mini Album

Hi guys! Today, I'm sharing my latest Doodlebug Design Team Project using the Lots of Love Collection! It's so much fun getting a new collection in the mail from Doodlebug. When I saw all the papers, stickers and die cuts for this one, I knew I had to make a heart shaped mini album for Valentine's Day! It's perfect for photos of your sweetheart, your kiddos, friends, or anyone that's special to you.

My clear Acrylic Heart Shaped Album is made of high quality 1/16" clear acrylic. It has 6 acrylic pages that are approx. 6 3/4" x 5 1/2" and they look so cute all dressed up with the Lots of Love collection! 

I chose the adorable Sending Love Doodle-pops for the cover and created a little outdoor scene with a tree branch, bird, and flowers. I added lots of shape sprinkles. They're so cute and shiny and fabulous, and ... I love every single one of them!
