Summer Fun Camera Shaped Mini Album with Doodlebug

Hi everyone! It's time for my latest Doodlebug Design Team Project and this week, I created a new scrapbook with the Summer Fun Collection and my Acrylic Camera Shaped Album. It's been a minute since I made a project with this mini and it turned out so, so cute! Such a fun keepsake for your summer photos.

This album would be fabulous for pictures of a vacation, the beach, a cruise, fishing, the pool, and warm sunny days. It features lots of pretty flowers, tropical palm trees, colorful fish, beach umbrellas, surfboards, and more. It would also make a gorgeous handmade gift for someone!

I designed this with my Acrylic Camera Shaped Album in white. It's approx. 4.25 x 6.25 inches and comes with white card stock pages, a round acrylic "lens" piece for the cover, and 2 silver binding rings.

As for Summer Fun Collection ... I used the 6x8 paper pad, some 12x12 cut apart cards, and lots of cute die cuts and stickers (links below). 

My camera album comes with a white acrylic circle for the lens, but I wanted to add pattern papers for more color. So, I used a 3" and a 3.5" circle punch to add layers underneath. Then, I added the scenic circle die cut on top and I love that it looks like a reflection in the lens!

Inside, there are 16 scrapbook pages that include 3 fold-out pages, 3 pockets, 3 interactive flippies, and space for 30 summer photos.

Isn't this fold-out page gorgeous? I love the flower print and that 4x4 "Life is Good" card on the front flap. Y'all know I'm all about a pretty scalloped circle! When you open the page, there's a matching 4x6 card underneath that's perfect for journaling and photos.

Check out this colorful pocket page! I added some cute journaling cards / photo mats, but you could also save small memorabilia here like ... a favorite summer recipe, tickets to an event, a postcard or room key from your travels, a brochure from an activity, or a small map.

This fun layout has a flippie with space for 2 pictures AND a cute little pocket! I added the "Adventure" tag from the Bits & Pieces that is great for a few notes. But, you could also tuck another photo inside.
