Hi ladies! Today, I'm sharing my latest Bella Blvd Design Team Project and I. Am. In. Love! It's a scrapbook titled Let's Go To The Zoo and it's such a cute chunky little album! I had so much fun decorating it and adding tons of embellishments that they're popping out the top!

I designed this with the new Zoo Day Collection which is sure to put a smile on your face! It's filled with the cutest animals, palm trees, flowers, leaves, bright colors, and fun animal prints. It's perfect for highlighting photos of a day at the zoo, outdoor fun, themed parties, a new baby, everyday memories, and more!

To make this, I used my Acrylic Mini Album 5" x 4.5". It comes with 2 covers made of 1/8" black acrylic, 2 binding rings, and 15 double-sided cardstock pages that include 6 plain, 6 fold-out, and 3 pocket pages.

Look how cute! To decorate the cover, I used the Stand Tall giraffe print in the background and layered horizontal strips of black cardstock, the blue Panda Pals polka dot, and the colorful stripe called Fast Track.
For the embellishment ... I punched a 3.5" scallop circle out of black paper, added a 3" black acrylic circle on top for dimension, then a 3" circle from the Sky High clouds paper. I wrapped the acrylic circle with twine, added the sun chipboard sticker from the Ciao Chip, and then the absolutely adorable Zoo Crew Bella-pops! It might just be my favorite "pops" ever. 🧡

Inside, I covered each of the black cardstock pages in 12x12 pattern papers. Above, I used the yellow gingham print called Zoo Talk. I added more of the same strips of paper from the cover, then a 3.5" scalloped circle punched out of white cardstock. The palm tree is from the Ephemera Icons, the dots are from the Epoxy Safari Stickers, and the "Family Fun" acrylic word is from Bella's Splash Zone Collection.
I love to extend die cuts off the edge of the pages of mini albums and the animals in the Ephemera Icons were perfect. Doesn't it look like their little faces are peeking over? So cute! And when the album is closed, they add interesting layers and a bit of whimsy.

This page is awesome. It's a fold-out WITH a flippie inside! So wait .. is that just a tri-fold? 🤔 Anyway, on the front I used the Fast Track stripe and added 2 cute tags from the Daily Details. I loved the little polka dot cloud from the Puffy Stickers so I had to add it, along with some gingham ribbon. When you open it ...

... there's the other card (aka, the flippie) that opens up! On the front, I added a 3" circle mat punched from the polka dot side of the Stand Tall paper. Then, I decorated with the arrow sign Ephemera die cut and the pink flowers and leaves sticker from the Ciao Icons. What a cute layout!

I think pockets are a great way to add extra storage to a mini album page. You can add photos, journaling cards, and memorabilia. To make this one, I chose the Around the Zoo pattern for the background and the Panda Pals polka dot for the front.
Inside the pocket, I tucked a few cards that can be used as mats or for notes. I made these out of the Zoo Day Borders paper. To embellish them, I added a heart and two border stickers from the Doohickey. The pawprint is from the Ephemera Icons, the stars are from the Epoxy Safari Stickers, and the "friends" is from the Ephemera Words.

Check out this fun flippie. I decorated the front with leaves and the word "adventure" from the Puffy Stickers. I love how these turned a simple white folding card into something way more fun. And once 2 photos are added inside, it will really be special!

This is such a cute page. I love the green and pink! In the background, I used the Leafy Lookout paper and added the palm tree and koala die cuts. The "Best Day" is a die cut from the Ephemera Words and that pretty pink tag is from the Daily Details. Oh! And all the gingham ribbons are from May Arts.

And of course, I have to show you how cute this chunky little scrapbook looks on my clear Acrylic Display Stand. It's perfect. It's such a great way to show off your crafty work and your fun adventurous memories!
