12x12 Layout & Card using Paper Pad Covers

Hello everyone! As a scrapper, I work with a lot of paper and I don't like to waste any of it. So today, I'm sharing a quick idea on how to use the covers of your 12x12 and 6x6 paper packs. Sometimes they are just too pretty to throw away!

This is the PinkFresh Studio, Good Times 12x12 paper pack. I really loved all the colorful squares on the cover and wanted to use that section on something. So, I cut it out and got creative.

Here's what I came up with. Isn't it pretty? Each individual square is approx. 2 inches. You could add as many photos to these as you want. I added spots for seven sweet pics!

Now for the details ... I started with the 12x12 rainbow stripe called Good Day as the base. Next, I layered the green print called Cozy up, then the squares from the cover. For the embellishments, I used pieces from the ephemera and the title ephemera. Done! How easy was that?

Next up, is a friend card I made with the cover from the 6x6 paper pack.

Again, I cut the squares out in one piece and adhered it to a simple white card (A2 size, 5.5”x4.25”) that I cut out of white card stock. I added a few mats and decorated with some pretty die cut pieces. Such a simple and quick project and ... a great way to reduce waste!
