Happy Easter 12x12 Layout with Doodlebug

Happy Thursday friends! Today, I'm sharing my latest Design Team Project which you can also see on Doodlebug's blog. It's a really cute 12x12 Easter Layout where I used the adorable Hippity Hoppity Collection. I have some very old photos that needed a bright, happy page and this collection was perfect!

For the base, I started with a fun flower print called Spring Has Spring. I layered white cardstock on the top and a grass print (Baby Carrots) on the bottom. To join the two, I used a strip of the colorful plaid (Easter Basket) and a strip of the Spring Meadow paper in the middle. I love those cute wagons full of goodies! I added a tractor in front so they look like they're being pulled through the grass and green grass washi tape over the wheels helped to create the look. For the two photo mats, I used Hunting Eggs & Hoppy Day and then added a pink scalloped border sticker (from the This and That) at the top.

For the Easter title, I used my Silhouette machine. I picked a fun font called Collegiate and created an offset for the white outline. Then I used a bunch of cute prints from the 6x6 paper pad and 12x12 papers for the centers of each letter. Don't those letters on the grass paper look like the large yard signs everyone uses now-a-days for birthdays and celebrations? Lol!

Next up ... the fun embellishments! I used lots of die cuts from the Odd and Ends. The eggs, lamb, flowers and chick were just what I wanted and the airplane was perfect in the center of the page. To finish off my layout, I added a few of my favorite flower or mushroom shaped sprinkles and ta-daaaah! Done! Ohhh, how I'd love for that to be my front yard. So festive!

I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend and a super Happy Easter!
