Fall Is My Favorite Scrapbook Album

Hey guys! This summer has been hot as Hades here in Georgia and I'm really looking forward to fall. I love the change in seasons and seeing the beautiful landscape colors evolve. So, imagine my joy when I received the new Carta Bella, Hello Autumn Collection. It's so pretty! I think you'll love this new album ...

This 6x6 inch mini album would be perfect for photos of a weekend get-a-way in the mountains, hiking, landscape photos, Thanksgiving or enjoying an evening around the fire with friends and marshmallows!

I'd love to scrap a pic of a fun morning baking with my granddaughter on this page. Maybe making some yummy Cinna-buns. With our aprons on (& probably dough all over) ... I can smell the warm cinnamon now. Or maybe pumpkin pie.

What a beautiful page for a family photo, best friends or maybe a sweet picture of a fall engagement! I'm loving the beautiful colors with shades of sage & olive green, burnt orange and terracotta red.

You know I always love to add a pocket to my albums. Great for storing tickets to a show or a festival, a map from a beautiful hike in the park, a beloved recipe or some extra photos.

I'm really into the watercolor look of the papers. So beautiful. It really adds to the handmade feel of these albums ... even if we didn't paint the papers ourselves, lol!

This wonderful chipboard album is packed with interactive pages, pockets and tons of embellishments.

The album has 12 scrapbook pages (6 double-sided) and will hold at least 25 photos. So be sure to take lots of pictures of your fun fall moments and scrap them right here!

Update: This kit has sold out but the instructions are available in my shop. They are simple, step-by-step, and include full color photos of each page. Links for the instructions and the products used are below. Happy scrappin'!

Pawprints On My Heart Dog Scrapbook Album

National Dog Day was created to encourage the public to recognize the number of dogs that need to be rescued and to acknowledge all the work they selflessly do each day to save lives, keep us safe, and bring comfort to our families.

Did you know dogs put their lives on the line every day for ... personal protection, law enforcement, the disabled, our freedom and safety by detecting bombs and drugs, and by pulling victims of tragedy from wreckage? And now they're detecting cancer and seizures - things humans can't even do! That is amazing!

So cherish your special pups and save their photos in a wonderful and safe place. One day you will love looking back on them. Hope you enjoy these projects and thanks for stoppin' by the blog! 😊

Pregnancy Calendar with Doodlebug

Hi guys! When I was pregnant with the boys, I kept pregnancy calendars for each of them. I started the first month and recorded important dates and memories until they were born. It was a fun way to document my pregnancies, so I thought I'd create a similar project to share with you. This would make a cute gift for a new mom-to-be, or ... a perfect place to save your own precious memories!
Pregnancy Calendar Scrapbook Pages by Artsy Albums
I designed these with the adorable Bundle of Joy Collection and the Daily Doodles sheets and stickers. They're perfect for this project.
12x12 Pregnancy Calendar Scrapbook Page with rainbows, sun, stork, and toys
I created the top border by adhering a 2" strip of Bundle of Joy pattern paper across the top.  I added the month stickers and some Odds and Ends to finish the top of each page.

Adding embellishments to the squares was the really fun part. I used mini icon stickers, Sunshine number stickers and some printed journaling spots but you could easily write the important dates and appointments.

12x12 Pregnancy Calendar Scrapbook Page with a flowers, a train, a duck, and a bear

I used paper from the 6x6 pad in some of the squares. I think it adds a fun pop of color and pattern to the page. They also make cute mats for small photos!

The shape sprinkles add a little shine and dimension to the page. I love them all but the little bear might be my favorite. He's so cute!!

If you know someone who's expecting, consider making her a special keepsake that she'll cherish throughout her 9 month journey.  Then once baby is born, she can slip the calendar pages into a 12x12 album to cherish for years to come.

Play with Doodle stamps on the pages too! I stamped a few phrases like "baby shower" and "cute as a button" on mine. You could also use the calendar stamps to add the days of the month!

I've added the product links below. If you're having a boy or just prefer blue ... I've also added links for the Special Delivery Collection. Happy crafting!
