Christmas Planner Album with Lori Whitlock and Bella Blvd

Hello crafty friends! Today, I'm sharing my latest Lori Whitlock Design Team Project and this week, I have an awesome holiday planner. I created this to save all my Christmas details in, and hopefully keep me organized. I will add travel plans, gift lists, greeting card ideas, menu plans, receipts, etc. Then after the holiday, this will be a great little keepsake for remembering the Christmas season!

Lori’s 2014 Planner Cover and Tabs file was perfect for this. I resized it to 6×8 and used my Silhouette Cameo to cut the covers out of chipboard so they'd be nice and sturdy.  Next, I created an inset for each page so that I could layer each page with cute pattern papers and cardstock.

On the front cover, I added a 4×6 chipboard piece for dimension and wrapped its edges in some red and white twineNow for all the fun details!  Lori has so many great files to choose from, so here is a list of the ones I used: (links below)

  • 5 Borders - this is the aqua scalloped piece with the clear gems. Love the sparkle!
  • Decorative Ornaments - I cut the hanger out of a metallic silver paper from Bazzill and used Bella paper for the circles.
  • Vintage Banner Seals - I used 2 shades of green Bazzill paper for this.
  • Christmas Card Set 2 - The pretty poinsettia flower is from this file.
  • Countdown to Christmas Title - I used white and red Bazzill cardstock.

For the papers, I used a bunch of colorful patterns from the Bella Blvd, Christmas Countdown Collection. And check out the cute penguin above! He's another one of Lori's cutting files called Santa Penguin (link below).

I downloaded the planning and calendar pages from Jessica Sprague's website.

The countdown is on! I love the holiday season ... are you ready? Below are the links to the cutting files and products used in this project. i hope this planner keeps you organized this season! Thanks for stopping by the blog and happy scrapping. 😊
