Sweet Life Scrapbook Mini Album

Hello everyone! Today, I'm introducing a new scrapbook album titled "Sweet Life" and it's perfect for photos of family, friends, and everyday moments. It's filled with beautiful images of lemons, bees, butterflies, and flowers and the colors are so fresh!!

This was designed with the Simple Stories, Simple Vintage Lemon Twist Collection and a cute 4x6 inch, black and white buffalo check Simple Stories Flipbook album.

The colors and prints in this collection are a really unique and vibrant mix of yellows, teal, and green. There's a punch of black and white throughout the album that really makes the colors stand out. 

 

I love the pretty images of nature. Some of the prints look slightly distressed, some feel very vintage and others feel a bit Parisian. Such a beautiful mix.

There are some delicate prints like the tiny black polka dot above that really makes the bright yellow lemon and pretty butterflies pop off the page. And, a little foam adhesive behind the teal butterfly helped too, lol! 

Yellow and teal flowers sit on top of a cute black banner that's actually a flippie. It lifts up and has room for 2 pictures underneath. You could add a photo on the flower print or leave it as is, since it's so pretty!

There's a handy dandy pocket that's great for extra photos or use the mat inside for journaling. I love the "You're the Sweetest" print on the pocket. The teal colors are just lovely.

This album has 28 pages (14 double-sided) and includes 3 folding cardstock pages, 3 flippies, and 1 pocket page. It's a fun project to create and would make a great gift for your friend, mom, sister or co-worker!

Valentine & Halloween Bingo Games

Hey guys! I've been having so much fun working on projects for Valentine's Day and this past weekend, I decided to think outside the box. Well, actually ... I was thinking ABOUT a box, lol! I made a super cute Valentine Bingo Game with matching box using Doodlebug's Lots of Love collection. Rylee and I love to play games and I can't wait to show this to her. 💗 We also made a Halloween version! See below.

I started by making a box out of black card stock. Here is a link to a video I found on YouTube for making a square box. You'll just need to enlarge the free template or SVG file so that the inside square is 8 1/2".

I loved the pretty red plaid so I covered the top of the box with it. I made a band across the middle with the Love You Bunches floral print and white card stock. I added lots of fun die cuts from the odds and ends and the Bingo title, which is Abigail alphabet stickers. Then I finished it off with a cute scalloped border sticker from the This and That. I made the 8"x8" Bingo cards by printing a grid on white paper and adding that to some pretty 12x12 pattern papers. Now for the really fun part. The stickers!

I used icon stickers from a few Doodlebug collections including Lots of Love, Love Notes and maybe a couple from the French Kiss collection. Each card has some duplicate stickers and some individual ones. They all have an X in the center for the free space. The X's are from Doodlebug's Skinny alphabet stickers.

I printed small cards that list each of the images in the squares. The cards can be shuffled and chosen at random.

For the game pieces, I punched scalloped heart shapes out of red card stock but you could use any shaped punch. Or, you could also use candy! If you're giving this as a gift, that would make it extra sweet!

This cute Bingo game was fun to make and l think my granddaughter's going to love it. And it can be made with any collection and any theme like ...

... Halloween! Here's a version I made with mini icon stickers from five different Doodlebug Halloween collections including Booville, Happy Haunting, Ghost Town, Candy Carnival and Monster Madness!!
