Hey guys! Today, I'm sharing my latest Doodlebug Design Team Project and a few photos from my recent trip to Hawaii. We had a wonderful vacation so, I decided to create a 12x12 page using the colorful Seaside Summer collection. With the waves, sunshine, palm trees & hibiscus flowers ... it was absolutely perfect.
I started by layering the blue "Surf's Up" paper (love those little waves!) on top of the striped "Beach Blanket" print. Then, I gathered some embellishments and paper scraps and began to play. (Product links below.)
This sunshine paper "Plaid it's Summer" is one of my favorites and I think the yellow color looked so fresh against the blue waves. I added the "summer" tab and heart stickers from the This & That sheet.
The palm tree and seagull came from the Odds and Ends. These cuties are iconic for ANY tropical vacation so, use this layout for photos of an afternoon at the beach, exploring a coastal town, ...
... relaxing by the pool, a day of boating, fishing, or a cruise. You don't have to be in Hawaii to feel like you're in paradise. You could even be in your own beautiful backyard oasis!
