Valentine Candy Bugs

Hello everyone! Today I'm sharing a quick Valentine's Day project that includes something sweet. They are little candy favors in the shape of bugs / butterflies! I made them for Rylee and Jax and they will definitely think these are fun and yummy!

I started by covering clothespins with a few small scraps of paper from the PhotoPlay, Tulla and Norbert's Love Story Collection. I used chunky twine for the antennas, some goofy eyes from Doodlebug's shape sprinkles called Eye Candy, and added a tiny smile that's sure to make my grandlittles laugh!

I used the Doodlebug Doodle Cuts Mini Tags Die Set to cut a few small tags and stamped them with some cute sentiments. The stamp sets are from Doodlebug's Happy Haunting and French Kiss collections. Then, I added a heart sprinkle to one of them and cute bows out of Doodle twine!

I filled the snack sized ziplocs with colorful M&M's, twisted the bag in the center, pinched it with the clothespin, aaaand viola! A simple, quick project that's sure to bring a smile to someone's face. (And since I ate half the bag of M&M's, it brought a smile to mine too! Lol)

Thanks for stopping by & happy crafting!
