Hello friends and Happy Mother's Day tomorrow! I thought I'd hop on the blog and quickly share a 12x12 layout that would be great for your photos from the day but really ... you could use this layout for pictures from any occasion!
You could add a favorite photo of you and your little (or grand little!), you and your mom, you and your best friend or you and your sweetheart. I also added a great spot to journal about the occasion or include the date!
I designed this with the sweet, yet sophisticated Doodlebug Hello Collection. I love the deep blue, the bright pink and the touches of metallic gold - like the "Me & You" letters from the Chit Chat.
For the base I used a 12x12 piece of Bella Blvd's Graph and Dot in Blueberry. The
gingham paper is called Tickled Pink (sold here) and the adorable blue polka dot is called Petite & Pretty (sold here). I had so much fun with the embellishments from the Chit Chat. Flowers, yes! Birds, you got it! Butterflies, ummm yah! And scalloped stickers from the This and That ... definitely!!
I love the row of hearts along the bottom. That's a strip from the 12x12 paper called Poppy Plaid (sold here). I added the word bubble from the Chit Chat and the birdcage is a mini icon sticker (sold here). I love the little bit of gold foil on this!
