Hey guys! I live in Georgia and it's not unusual to go an entire winter without seeing a single snowflake. So when it snows, it's a big deal! Schools close, drivers stay off the roads, and the kids head outside to play. We all just hope it sticks long enough to build a snowman or sled down a hill, lol! Today, I'm sharing a 12x12 layout that's all about one of those days & my sweet granddaughter's excitement!
I was inspired by the colors in Rylee's hat, so I started with a lilac background. I also knew that I wanted lots of colorful snowflakes at the top of the page.
I couldn't forget "Bruce" the moose! I just love him and his name, lol! Isn't his little side grin the cutest? I also included a spot to journal about the moment and added a row of pretty enamel heart sprinkles.
I used foam adhesive for all of my snowflakes, and topped several of them with shape sprinkles for some shine.
I also like the pop of color that the chit chat pieces add at the bottom of the page. This is probably the only snow layout I'll get to do this year since our temps are in the 60's now, but I hope I've inspired those of you who enjoy snow-filled winters!
