Hey guys! I have a great basket shaped mini album to share with you today and some adorable bunnies from Doodlebug's Hoppy Easter Collection have hopped right onto the cover! This mini would make the best handmade gift in someone's Easter basket or use it for your own holiday photos! 🐇
Here's how I made it ... I started with Doodlebug's Easter egg basket cutting file (link below). I enlarged the file, then made an offset around the basket. I used this shape to cut the covers and pages.
I
used a bunch of petite prints for the cover - the basket (dot and
stripe in Kraft) and the colorful eggs (floral and graph). I added a
cute doodle-pop in the center called Baby Bunny Doodle-pops, some dies from the odds and ends and an enamel glitter dot for a little sparkle (links below). I love this cover!
I mixed and matched lots of pretty papers from the Hoppy Easter 6x6 paper pad and 12x12 prints, then added more die cuts throughout the album. Since I plan to use this for photos of my granddaughter's Easter egg hunt, I used the Hoppy Easter stamp set and doodle dies to create that cute little sign for the first page.
The bunny next to the Egg Hunt sign is from the icon sticker sheet. I love mixing the smaller stickers with the larger odds and ends.
So much Doodlebug cuteness! That bunny peeping over the photo mat makes me so happy. It looks like he's hanging out in the grass with his carrot!🥕
Each page has a 3" circle mat for small photos that I cut with a Marvy Uchida punch. I love using the 6x6 paper pad for these since the prints are smaller. I just tuck the pictures in behind any overlapping die cuts and they look perfect!
If you'd like to recreate this, I've added product links below. However, you can use ANY paper collection to make this your own! Doodlebug's Hippity Hoppity line is still available HERE and would be a great substitute.
Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have a Happy Easter everyone!
