Hi everyone, I'm back with a project I made for Doodlebug with the ADORABLE new Fairy Tales collection. This time, I created a birthday album in the shape of a cupcake using one of Doodlebug's new cut files called Cupcake Fairy Tales (link below.)
I cut the front and back covers out of thin chipboard four times. I adhered the 4 pieces together to make the covers more sturdy. After cutting and adhering the pattern paper pieces, I adhered limeade chunky twine around the edge.
I had so much fun with the stickers and die cut pieces. The unicorn is the cutest Doodlebug critter ever!!
I also love the shape sprinkles. I almost wanted to save that little strawberry, but it looked so cute on top of the ice cream I left it there. I'll have to get another package so I can get another strawberry, LOL.
I added an adorable treat bag to one of the pages and tucked a photo mat inside.
On the last page I created a little 2x2 flip-up card for photos, and adhered three boutique buttons at the bottom of the page.
This was such a fun mini album to make. I hope I've inspired you to create a mini album using cutting file shapes ... so many possibilities!
Have a great day and happy crafting!
