NEW! You Are My Sunshine Album & 12x12 Layouts

Hey guys, happy Friday! I have something wonderful and NEW in the shop for you. (Lol, that rhymed.) I finally received the much anticipated new Bella Blvd, You Are My Sunshine Collection and I love it so much that I made TWO projects ~ a colorful mini album and a 4-page 12x12 layout kit! Take a look ...

To purchase the instructions for this album visit:

The cute mini is titled "You Are My Sunshine" and it's filled with beautiful colors, rainbows, butterflies, and sunshine icons.

Check out the colorful tabs, fun embellishments, and ribbons that are poppin' out beyond the pages. I just love it! It's designed with one of my favorite 4x5 inch Graphic 45 albums that's packed with lots of fun pockets and tags with grommets.

I'm going to say the theme of this scrapbook is ... happy! It has fun, playful icons that are perfect for just about any photos including family, friends, everyday pictures, a celebration, summer fun or a weekend trip.

And speaking of happy ... that little bee die cut is so funny. He looks like an oval shaped balloon with wings. Hilarious! He's my favorite of the bunch so I placed him on the end of a white mat that pulls out of one of the side pockets. You can add a sweet photo to it or use it for journaling.

There's a total of 12 pockets in this album. There are 8 on the pages like the one in the picture above. I added a cute tag with ribbon to that one. And then ... there are 4 SIDE pockets that have pull-out mats. Each one has a different cute tab!

This mighty mini has fold-out pages too. Such cute rainbows. Wasn't I right with the happy theme?!

Here's another page with a front pocket, a tab, a side pocket AND a pull-out mat! So many cute and interactive elements. This album holds 40 photos.

No Artsy Album would be complete without a flippie! This one comes with a pretty butterfly tucked inside. Does it get any happier than rainbows and butterflies?

The title card above is soooo funny. We all have someone we adore that is "Sunshine mixed with a little hurricane", don't we? 😂

Next up ... my 12x12 "Sunshine" Layout Kit!

To purchase the instructions for these layouts visit:

There's 4 pages (2 double-page layouts) in this kit and they would be a perfect addition to any 12x12 album!

There is room for 12 photos and also space for journaling. So add those sweet faces you love and all those happy memories right here.

So what do you think? Aren't these newbies cute?! And trust me, they are so much fun to make. You will love them!  Thanks for stopping by the blog today. 😊

Update: These kits have sold out but the instructions are available in my shop. They are simple, step-by-step, and include measurements and full color photos of each page. Links for the instructions and the products used are below. Happy scrappin'!

A Look Back at My Family Disney Album

Hello my friends!  I'm doing a bit of a throw back since it's Thursday.  This is my family Disney album from a few trips we took when the kids were young. Although the style is a bit dated, and most of the products are no longer available, I did want to share a few fun techniques that you could use for your own pages.

This album is a 9x9 post-bound album by Making Memories. The company is no longer in business, but I use to love this size for our travel albums. The Doodlebug Storybook Album is a great substitute, comes in tons of different colors and, I've added the product link below.

I kept the color scheme consistent throughout my album focusing on red, yellow, black and bright blue card stock, and just a few pieces of patterned paper.  The blue and striped papers above are by a company called KI Memories ... anyone remember them? They had a whole line by a designer named Elsie Flanagan, called Love, Elsie.  Paper, embellies, and the cutest stamp sets!  Elsie still has a wonderful blog called A Beautiful Mess. Check it out!

I have a ton of stamps and it's fun for me to find ways to use them in my scrapbooks. On the page above I tucked an A10 envelope in between my base black paper and my photo.  Then I added red paper to the envelope flap and stamped a title.  The chipboard glove turns on a brad to keep the flap down.

When the glove is turned to the side, and the flap is open, a journaling tag can be pulled out of the envelope.  I wish I knew the manufacturer of these stamps, but the packaging for them has been long gone.

Another way I use stamps in my albums is by creating my own embellishments and borders.  The yellow frame, arrow, and red dot border are all stamps.  I just used black ink to stamp the arrow and frame, and then cut them out.

I used this fun journaling stamp to make a list embellishment.  I wrote in the character names this time, but I've used this stamp many times to list people in the photos, menu items, items in my beach bag, etc.  Again, if anyone out there recognizes this stamp, let me know so I can add it to this post :)

On these pages I used stamping for some border strips, a block for Mickey to sit on, a few arrows, a cute little tag, and my journaling card.  This is a very cost effective way to scrapbook!  Just think how many embellishments you could make over and over again with the same stamp!

I love this page about Rian sleeping through Disney! He was "all out of magic", lol, so I added stamps swirls for a little magical fun.

Do you think you can only scrapbook a Disney page with Disney paper?  Think again!  You can make whatever you have work.  Those black and white prints above are certainly not Disney themed, nor is the heart ribbon, but I think it's a pretty cute page ... circa 1996 :)

Speaking of "making whatever you have work", I wanted Dalmatian paper for my numbers.  Since I didn't have any I colored my spots with a sharpie!  Aren't those little puppies adorable? They are Disney EK Success Jolee stickers.

Well, that's it for me today!  I hope you enjoyed my throwback Thursday post and picked up a few tips for adding hidden journaling and stamping to your next scrapbook!  I'll be back here tomorrow with a new kit in the shop so be sure to stop by!

Crafty Cart Shaped Mini Album with Doodlebug

Hi friends! A few days ago, I asked my Facebook and Instagram followers which Cute and Crafty die cut was their favorite. They're ALL adorable but several people said they love the little craft cart. So, I decided to create a new shaped mini album with its cutting file! How stinkin' cute is this? Ha!

To begin, I offset the cutting file to create the white card stock pages. Then I used the Petite Prints, Dot/Stripe and Gingham/Linen in swimming pool for the cover. Next, I added all the little icon stickers to the cart's drawers. That was fun. So much cuteness!

For an extra sweet smile, I added a few enamel dots in cupcake for the cheeks and added the "making memories" title from the Chit Chat (links below).

Since my album measures 4" x 9", I used the 12x12 Cute and Crafty papers to cover my pages. So many colorful prints, I think I used every single one of them! I added some die cuts from the Odds and Ends and a 3x4 fold-out card too. No album is too small for a flippie!

Ok, check out the pages above. On the left side, a long flippie that's perfect for documenting your favorite things. And when you flip it up ...

... there is space for more photos! Now can you see why I was so giddy making this?

And on the right side, a little pocket filled with a card for journaling, fun die cuts and space for extra photos. I just couldn't make a mini without a pocket or two!

More fun pages with a rainbow pencil paper (love!) and sprinkles (love!). How cute is the little button!? I used foam tape under a few of the flowers for some shiny dimension. And when you lift up this flippie you'll find ....

... lots of cute crafting tools smiling back at you!

I used a few stickers here and there from the This and That. One of my favorites is the "Every day is a good day to craft". I couldn't agree more!!

Thanks for stopping by the blog today. I hope you love my latest shaped mini album. I've added all the product links below and happy crafting!

And on the fun shaped tag, I added the Thank You sticker from the Doodlebug Hello Collection. However, you can write your own message or use any embellishments you have.
