Golf Cart Card - April Blog Hop with Lori Whitlock

Hey scrappers! Today is Lori Whitlock's April Blog Hop and my blog is the first stop on the hop so, be sure to hop back over to Lori's site too because she has a sale, a giveaway and an awesome freebie for you!

For my project, I decided to make a card for all the golf enthusiasts out there! My husband loves to play and with the weather warming up and us moving to a golf course soon ... I thought this would be a fun card to make!

I used one of Lori's awesome cutting files called Shadow Box Card Golf Card and some simple Bazzill cardstock. (Cutting file & product links below.)

I love this card! It would be great for a birthday, Mother's Day or Fathers Day. I think, anyone who's a golfer would appreciate this. And ... there's plenty of room on the back side to write a message.

This tee-rific little card folds flat so you can send it in an envelope or ... store in safely in a scrapbook along side those golfing or birthday photos!

There are more fun, inspiring projects to see today so be sure to hop to each blog! Your next stop today is Kathy's site!

12x12 Smile Scrapbook Page Layout

Hello friends! I know it's Monday so if you're feeling bummed that the weekend's over ... here's a cheerful layout for some fun inspiration. This page is all about Rylee's giant smile and how happy her sweet face makes me! 💗

I used Photo Play's Fern and Willard collection. The colors were perfect for my two photos of Rylee. I started with the dark blue paper called Pocket Full Of Posies as my base and added some lighter more playful prints on top. I made 4 mats to go behind one of the photos - I just love the dots and stripes together!

That happy sunshine is a 3x4 card I trimmed down from the paper called Smile. The colorful striped paper is the reverse side of that. The word bubble is from Doodlebug's Hello Collection Chit Chat. I added the green botanical print (called Ladybug) in a few places and that super cute polka dot print (called Lily Pond).

That adorable frog is a 3x4 card from the paper called Smile. I punched him out with a circle punch and added him to a slightly larger scalloped circle I punched from Doodlebug's Petite Prints Linen in Bumblebee. I used a little foam adhesive on the back to raise him off the page a bit and I think he's precious!

I had fun with this layout and the Fern and Willard collection. It's full of happy colors to go with my happy little granddaughter! Below are the product links. Hope you have a great day and thanks for stopping by!

New Hello Summer Album

Hello everyone and Happy Friday! I have a great new album to share with you today that has all the summer feels! 🌞🍉 It's titled Hello Summer and it was made with a fresh new collection from Echo Park called A Slice of Summer.

This album will have you daydreaming about long sunny days, sandwiches by the pool, running through the sprinklers, bike riding with friends and picnics in the park. I can already smell the coconut sunscreen ...

Summer means shorts, flip-flops, sundresses and neighborhood BBQs are right around the corner. I can just see the kids selling lemonade on the corner and enjoying popsicles in the sun. Take pictures of the sidewalk art they created with chalk, the water balloon fun and all the outdoor adventures!

This scrapbook is perfect for memories of making homemade ice cream, eating big slices of watermelon or visiting a farm to pick fresh strawberries.🍓 Yum!

Or ... save your photos of a day at the beach, building sandcastles and searching for seashells. What about pictures of the water park, pool parties or flying kites! Oh, how I love the relaxed feeling of this season.

Summer's also the best time for family vacations like a trip to the lake, a weekend at a cabin or a family reunion. Maybe you like to travel in an RV, spend time exploring national parks, camping, hiking or canoeing? Warm weather brings nature walks, campfires, hot dogs, smores, rope swings and catching fireflies! Ahhh, summer ... 😊

If you need some indoor activities you could visit a museum, have story time at the library, go bowling or build an indoor tent! What about an afternoon crop with your scrappy friends, create an Artsy Albums kit or make fun crafts with the littles. So many good memories to be made when summer arrives!

With room for 50 photos, there's plenty of space for pics of the kids at camp, playing sports or an afternoon of mini golf. How about a fun evening with a movie at the park, a scavenger hunt or birthday parties? I can think of so many fun activities that would be perfect saved in my Hello Summer scrapbook.

So, get a head start and purchase my kit or my premade album today! My kit is a super fun weekend project that you can enjoy creating now and save for your upcoming summer memories! Then a few months from now, all you have to do is print and add the amazing pictures to your album! Simple, fun and easy! Love that!

Thanks for stopping by and I hope you have fun with this one!
