Hey friends! Who's ready for a peek at this week's pretty NEW 12x12 page kit? It's titled My Best Life and will be in my shop on the Friday along with a 2nd kit. These colorful layouts are wonderfully generic and all about ... your best life! So, you can add everyday photos, spring, a party, fun with friends and family, a favorite hobby, gardening ... really anything! 

I designed them with the Echo Park, My Best Life Collection that's filled with lots of beautiful flowers, hearts, cameras, and everyday items like pencils, make-up, clips, shoes, and sunglasses. Cute!

There are 6 scrapbook pages (3 double-page layouts) with space for 23-25 photos. They'd be great for a birthday celebration, date night, an afternoon at the park, a bridal or baby shower, brunch with the girls, backyard fun, a church event, or a spring vacation.

I've included plenty of journaling spots so you can document the fun stories, or ... simply add dates, names, locations, or the event.

This collection is quite a departure from the fall, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas collections we've been creating with over the past few months. And even though we're still a bit away from spring, it doesn't mean we can't enjoy flowers and bright happy colors, right? 😉

Football Shaped Scrapbook Album with Lori Whitlock

Hello crafty friends! Today is Lori Whitlock's January Blog Hop and my blog is the first stop on the hop. But be sure to visit Lori's site also because she has a sale and more great products for you!

For my project, I was inspired by a recent football game. My family is from South Florida so we're big fans of the University of Miami Hurricanes. I've had some collegiate licensed paper laying around for years and since our Canes just made it into the National Championship Game (first time since 2003!), I decided to create a football shaped mini album using one of Lori's awesome cutting files! 

I used her super cute Hexagon Pop Up Football Card File (links below). Here's what it looks like ...

Isn't it great?! This card could be given for Father's Day, a birthday, congratulations, graduation, thank you, or thinking of you. Simply adjust the sentiment as needed. With the Super Bowl just around the corner, I'll be making it very soon! 

For today's album, I only used the football shape and sized it to 8x6 inches. I cut the front and back covers out of acrylic, but card stock could be used instead.

I decorated the album with Hurricane papers and stickers from a company called Sports Solutions. You could also use any generic football collection as a substitute (see product suggestions and links below).

Inside, I added 8 white scrapbook pages (4 double-sided) made of card stock and covered each one in fun patterns, photo mats, and embellishments. Here are a few more of the pages ...

This scrapbook would be perfect for photos of tailgating, a professional or collegiate football game, your son or grandson playing football, a Super Bowl party, a football themed birthday party, or a sports convention.

Ok, let's check out more of this cute exclusive kit ... 

I designed this with a 6x8 inch lilac binder by Doodlebug. On the cover, I added the playful snowflake print called Paper Snowstorm, then created a cute winter scene with a 4x6 card and some Ephemera Icons. I finished it off with the scalloped Doohickey border sticker and some chunky twine and I think it's adorable! 

Just inside the cover, I added lots of fabulous color with the striped paper called Frosted Horizon. I layered a photo mat, some corner Doohickey stickers, and a few die cuts from the Ephemera Icons. Now this space is ready for a super special photo.

The album has 20 scrapbook pages that include 2 fold-out pages, 3 pockets, 6 fun flippies, and space for 50+ photos on the layouts and in the clear page protectors. I'm loving all the snow covered buildings and houses in this collection. Above, I added the cute cafe and bookstore.

Here is the inside flap of one of the fold-out pages. Such a fun mix of patterns on this layout. They definitely say winter but are generic enough for all kinds of memories, so ... you can add photos from a winter vacation to family gatherings at home.

On this page, I made a "wintertime" flippie with a 3x4 card from the Daily Details and added a whimsical polka dot photo mat inside for a picture. Then, I embellished with the cute hot cocoa cart and a purple mug topped with whipped cream! 

Check out the fun elements on this pretty pink layout. I created a circle flippie out of white cardstock and added the adorable snowman Doohickey sticker on top. I love its round shape, colorful trees, and scallop design. Below that, I made a photo mat with a handy little pocket inside. I tucked some cards in it for journaling and added colorful tab stickers to the edges.

Here's a larger pocket page. I made 2 folding cards with space for 7 photos and tucked those inside. Then, I added the scalloped penguins Doohickey sticker to one. So cute! This pocket is also a great space for saving memorabilia, like ... lift tickets from a ski trip, a postcard from your travels, a favorite winter recipe, a greeting card, or a brochure from a fun activity.

This beautiful mini album is so versatile and can be used for any winter memory. Add pictures of ...

• a winter vacation, a mountain cabin, an Alaskan cruise, or a weekend in the city
• snow covered landscapes
• a crisp winter hike
• fun in the snow, building a snowman, or making snow angels
• a winter family photo shoot
• skiing, sledding, snowboarding, tubing, or ice skating 
• a cozy afternoon scrapping with friends
• playing games with the littles
• an afternoon of baking

NEW! 12x12 Chilling With My Snowmies Winter Layout Kit

Happy Friday everyone! I've just added TWO new 12x12 layout kits to the shop that are so much fun! On Wednesday, I shared the first one titled Little Builder. It's perfect for photos of the kiddos or grandchildren with their impressive (and imaginative!) construction skills. And today, I'm sharing the second kit that is simply winterful! It's titled Chilling With My Snowmies and has 6 pages that are perfect for the season.

I designed these with the Echo Park, Chilling With My Snowmies Collection that feels cool and crisp with shades of blue, green, pink, and red. It features happy little snowmen, flowers, snowflakes, penguins, snow globes, ice skates, and more.

There are 6 scrapbook pages (3 double-page layouts) with space for 22 winter weather photos. So, you can add pictures of a pretty snow covered landscape, building a snowman, making snow angles, a winter vacation, skiing, sledding, tubing, everyday fun, and sweet memories with your favorite people.

Isn't the card above cute? I love the joyful little snowmen all snoodled up with their cozy hats, scarves, and mittens!  What a great page for photos of fun times with your "snowmies"!

If you're new to Artsy Albums ... let me explain how my layout kits make saving your photos super simple. The supplies for each page are separated into stacks and placed in a bag. As you slide the materials out of the bag, leave them stacked in that order, and follow the step-by-step instructions to assemble each layout. Add your fabulous photos, aaaand voila! You did it! Scrapbooking that is easy, quick, and so much fun!

Winter House Shaped Mini Album with Doodlebug

Hey friends! It's time for my next Doodlebug Design Team Project and this week, I created a cute house shaped mini album with Doodlebug's Home Sweet Home Chipboard Album and the adorable Snow Much Fun Collection. It's a perfect keepsake for photos of family, friends, fun in the snow, and everyday memories.

I just love this mini. The 5x7 inch chipboard album comes as a blank canvas that features two covers, a roof top piece, four dividers, and four pages (link below). You could decorate it in with ANY theme but this beautiful collection turns the house into a cozy winter home.💙

For the cover, I chose a few pattern papers and solid card stock in pistachio, lilac, and sea glass. I cut the different shapes out with the Home Sweet Home Doodle cuts. This set includes 18 metal dies that are perfect for creating the intricate details like window frames, doors, flower boxes, potted plants, etc. (links below).

To decorate it, I used some mini icon stickers (they were the perfect size!). I added the snowman, penguin, and 2 adorable children peeking through the windows. Next came some shape sprinkles. I chose a few snowflakes for the roof, a heart over the front door, and a lilac enamel dot for the doorknob. And for a little sparkle, I added some mini jewels along the scalloped roofline and glitter to the snow. 

Inside, I covered the chipboard pages in pretty 6x6 and 12x12 pattern papers. On the layout above, I added the snowflake print in the background, a journaling card, and some fun die cuts from the Odds & Ends.

Here, I used with the other side of the snowflake paper. It's so cute filled with winter animals like polar bears, bunny rabbits, penguins, and seals. Next, I made a flippie with space inside for 2 photos. I used a sweet 4x4 card from the Spot of Snow paper and tucked a few die cuts behind it. 

What a great page for pictures of playing in the snow! In the background, I added the Winter Wonderland print filled with tiny snowflakes, then made 2 photo mats out of the pretty plaid titled All Bundled Up. The title is a sticker from the This & That sheet, the snowflakes are shape sprinkles, and the snowmen and penguin are from the Odds & Ends.

Ooooo, I love this gingham print called Ice Crystals. It's so beautiful and looks great with the die cuts from the Bits & Pieces. I chose a scalloped circle and cut it in two, placing one half on either side of the photo mat. Then, I added the snowflakes on top.

Isn't this page pretty? The lilac card stock is such a great color and makes the perfect background for the snowflake shape sprinkles and the cute snowmobile die cut. The "winter" tab and the scalloped border are stickers from the This & That sheet.

This little winter album would make a great keepsake for photos of your snow covered home, a ski vacation, the beautiful mountains, a cabin, tubing, sledding, building a snowman, and sweet memories with loved ones.

It would also make a great gift idea. Give it to someone for a birthday, a thank you present, or ... as a fun way to tell someone you're taking them on a vacation!

On this page, I used the playful lilac polka dot print called Snow Day. Then, I added some wonderful die cuts and embellished one of the trees with lots of sparkling mini jewels. Love the gems!
