Christmas Scrapbook Album with Bella Blvd

Hey friends! It's Wayback Wednesday, so I thought I'd share an oldie but a goodie from 2014. It's a Christmas mini album that I still love. I think it's fun to look back on older projects to see how styles and paper collections have changed. One thing that will never change is my love for Bella Blvd and Doodlebug Design.

Isn't she a cutie? I created this one with the fabulous Bella Blvd, Christmas Cheer Collection and a Doodlebug Design, Plain and Simple 6x6 chipboard album. On the cover, I added the striped Reindeer Games paper, the Christmas tree sticker from the Trinkets, and the "Christmas" title from the Ciao Chip Icon stickers. Then, I framed the square window with scallops and added lots of colorful ribbons.

Inside, I made a flippie using a 3x4 card from the 12x12 Daily Details paper. I loved the snow globe image and thought it would be perfect peeking through the window on the front cover. Then, I added some holiday cheer to the tabs with stickers from the Treasure and Text.  

Isn't this 12x12 Happy Hearts paper fun?! It's pink color is such a cute and unexpected surprise for a Christmas collection and I absolutely love it. On top, I added the "I ❤️⁠ Christmas" piece from the die cuts. 

I continued the pretty pink hearts across to this next page using another card from the 12x12 Daily Details to make the photo mat. Then I added the journaling card with its colorful row of trees, the Holiday Hoopla trinkets sticker, and the Ciao Chip Icon gift sticker. 

How cute are these little reindeer? I love how quirky they are with their stick-like antlers and tiny little eyes. I added a mini red jewel nose to the reindeer, the "family" Trinkets sticker, and the tab with hearts from the Treasures and Text. 

Here, I adhered the Merry Christmas scalloped die cut piece just off the edge of the page. I still do this in my albums today. I love having different shapes, tags, and ribbons popping out of the top of my scrapbooks.

No Artsy Albums mini is complete without a few handy pockets. They're perfect for storing extra photos and journaling cards, but also ... all the bits and bobs we collect along the way.

Above, I made a 4x4 flippie with a card from the 12x12 Daily Details and added more red jewels for sparkle. It can't be holiday scrapbook without a little bling, right ladies?

I grew up with a Polaroid camera, so the style of die cut frame above is so nostalgic for me. The "Christmas Cuties" saying make this a perfect spot for photos of friends, family, or pets. And the little chipboard penguin kept this page simple and fun!

So, I would probably say I was a simpler scrapbooker back then, but all the things I love about this album ... I still do today! I have improved on my picture taking skills though, lol!

Christmas Gift Card Holder with Lori Whitlock

Hello everyone and happy holidays! Today is Lori Whitlock's December Blog Hop and my blog is the first stop on the hop. But be sure to visit Lori's site also because she has a sale and more great products for you!

For my project today, I created a cute Christmas gift card holder that has 4 little pockets tucked inside. It's such a creative way to give a present and you could add different items like gift cards, money, photos, notes, tickets to an event, or clues to a holiday scavenger hunt. How fun!

I used Lori's 3x4 Library Pocket Mini Album file and the Echo Park, Santa Claus Collection also designed by Lori (links below). It's such a practical file and can be used again and again for birthdays, baby gifts, or ANY holiday.

To make it, I cut the base out of red card stock then decorated the cover with the 3x3 Christmas Cheer card from the 6x6 paper pad. On the flap, I added a green print and embellished with the scalloped border and 2025 from the sticker book. 

Here's what it looks like when you open it up. I layered the pockets inside with more 6x6 pattern papers. Since the holder measures 3x4 inches, you can also use the cut apart cards. That's convenient!

I adhered a small Velcro circle on the flap to keep the items in the pockets secure. On the first page, I added a cute Santa paper and Christmas tree sticker. Then, I tucked a gift card inside to show how perfectly they fit.

I added stickers to the pocket fronts, but you could also add photos or handwritten notes as a fun surprise. I love the idea of customizing this specifically for your giftee. Add pictures of the both of you, a funny saying that you share, or let your kids add a sweet little drawing!

Christmas Flipbook Mini Album with Bella Blvd

Hey friends! Today, I'm sharing my latest Bella Blvd Design Team Project and a flip through VIDEO! I created a Christmas mini album with the My Life 365 Collection and filled it with festive Bella-pops stickers, fun flippies, & bright colors. It makes the cutest keepsake for holiday photos and a fabulous stocking stuffer idea.

To make it, I cut a 12x12 piece of chipboard into six 3x6 pages. On the front cover, I used the 12x12 Bella Besties gingham and stripes in white for the background and adhered a 3x4 card from the "December" print on top. Next, I added the adorable Bella-pops called You're Invited. This little 3D sticker is the cutest and has so many of fun layered details! Then, I added the polka dot scalloped border (Ciao Chip from the Merry Mingle Collection), some epoxy dots, and a little red epoxy heart (product links below).

Inside, I covered the chipboard pages with more Bella Besties prints. Above, I used the stripes in pickle juice. I created a flippie with the 3x4 december card, then added the cute pink present from the Wrapped and Ready Bella-pops. 

This pink gift holds more holiday memories! I used another 3x4 card to make this flippie with room inside for 2 more pictures. I added a red bow from the Ephemera Icons on top and pop dots underneath for dimension. Aren't folding cards are a great way to add extra photos to smaller pages? They gave this little album space for 15 pictures!  

Check out the "sweet" little candy canes on this page! This pattern is the back side of the 12x12 December print and I love it. I made 2 photo mats out of the Besties print in mcintosh, then finished it off with the festive Christmas tree die cut in the center.

NEW! Winnie The Pooh Baby Scrapbook Album Kit

Hey guys! It's time to share this week's new scrapbook kit that will be in my shop on Friday. It's a sweet gender neutral baby album that's filled with classic images of Winnie-the-Pooh and his curious friends ~ Piglet, Owl, Tigger, Kanga, Roo, and the ever gloomy Eeyore. This adorable book is perfect for memories of your baby, and ... it makes an incredible gift idea for expecting parents, a newborn, a baby shower, an adoption, or grandparents. 

I designed it with a 6x8 Doodlebug binder in mint and the Simple Stories, Say Cheese Classic Pooh Baby Collection that features A. A. Milne's beloved characters originally illustrated by E. H. Shepard.

On the cover, I added Pooh Bear, some baby items, a few buzzing bees, and a sweet scene with Christopher Robin on an adventure. The kit comes with a package of die cuts and a sticker sheet so you can customize the details if you wish, like swapping out the blue socks for the pink ones.

Inside, there are 32 scrapbook pages + 3 additional shaped pages! They include 4 pockets, 8 fun interactive flippies, 1 fold-out, and space for 60++ photos on the layouts and in the clear page protectors. The very first page (above) starts out with a picture of the "sweet and beautiful" mama to-be! 

Using a baby book can be a great way to remember the special moments and details of your child’s first year(s). Change happens quickly and you're likely to forget things. So, having a place to keep their story not only gives you peace of mind, but it also provides a meaningful heirloom to pass on to your children.

Reminiscent of the classic Winnie the Pooh books, this album has cute black and white illustrations depicting the Hundred Acre Wood, Pooh's house, the bee tree, his friends' homes, and other forest locations.

Each page is cuter than the next. This one has soft colors, Pooh Bear hanging from a stork, and a library journaling card. Turn this layout over and there's a spot for baby's first picture, date and time of birth, weight, length, and mom and dad's names.

Here is one of the shaped pages. This one is perfect for journaling stories or recording milestones. You could add the dates of their first smile, word, steps, haircut, first taste of food, or first time sleeping through the night. And don't forget the developmental ones that include when they started to sit up, crawl, or stand.   

I love this pocket page with its cute Winnie-the-Pooh stamp and the circular cutout. I tucked some colorful journaling inside but you can also use this space to save meaningful keepsakes.

Add memorabilia such as sonogram pictures, baby's footprints, a copy of the birth certificate, hospital bracelets, a lock of hair, your baby shower invitation or birth announcement, or special greeting cards.
