NEW! It Was Always You Wedding Scrapbook Kit

Hello friends! It's time for a peek inside this week's new scrapbook kit and this one is gorgeous!! It's a wedding mini album titled It Was Always You and it will be in my shop on Friday. This beautiful keepsake is perfect for photos of an engagement, dress shopping, a bridal shower, the rehearsal, the big day, and all the fun in between! Take a look ... 

I designed this with the 49 & Market, One Perfect Day Collection that features pretty florals, delicate lace patterns, vintage text, and a sophisticated neutral color palette of blush, cream, taupe, and sepia tones. I also used a 6x8 inch gray album by Doodlebug Design.

On the cover, I added elegant papers, die cuts, and laser cut elements of pretty flowers, an oval frame, champagne glasses, wedding gifts, and gold rings. Then, I finished it off with a beautiful satin ribbon.

Inside, there are 20 scrapbook pages that include 1 fold-out page, 2 pockets, 1 flippie, and space for 40 amazing photos of the celebration.

What a special handmade book to document a love story and a couple's favorite wedding memories. Add pictures of the proposal, the ring, different venues, shopping for dresses and tuxedos, picking flowers, tasting cakes, and the bridal shower.

As the big day arrives, add photos of the wedding's location, family arriving, bridal party, guests, the bride and groom, the vows, toasts and speeches, cake cutting, the dance floor, the bouquet toss, and the final send off.

 

Here's a great page for just the groom. Add photos of him getting ready, his grandfather's vintage cuff links or watch, his crazy socks, and fun moments with his groomsmen.

 

Isn't this page beautiful? I love the large die cut. The pocket is a great space to save journaling cards, extra photos, or memorabilia like an invitation, place cards, love notes, your handwritten vows, wedding cards, receipts, a printed napkin, honeymoon arrangements, and tickets.

This "It Was Always You" Mini Album is a gorgeous keepsake for a new bride-to-be or extra wedding photos. It would also make such an amazing gift for parents and grandparents! Fill it with special moments from the day and they will treasure it forever. 💕

12x12 Fall Scrapbook Page with Bella Blvd

Hey crafty girls! It's time for my latest Bella Blvd Design Team Project and today, I'm sharing a 12x12 scrapbook page that I made with two fabulous collections ~ My Life 365 and One Fall Day. This layout is fun, colorful, and perfect for photos of fall, Thanksgiving, and fun everyday memories! Take a look ...

To make this, I chose the blueberry Bella Besties gingham and stripes paper as the base, then added white card stock on top. At the bottom, I added the November print from the My Life 365 Collection. I ❤️ this versatile collection and have used it in MANY projects (see the links below).

Next, I added the Fall Scramble acetate from the One Fall Day Collection to create texture in the background. I love all the autumn words. I made the journaling spot by punching a 3" scalloped circle from the Besties graph and dot in guacamole, and a 2.5" circle from white card stock. Then, I embellished with leaves and flowers from the One Fall Day Ciao Chip stickers. 

On the right, I made 2 photo mats from the Besties graph and dot in McIntosh, added my photos (love that sweet girl!!), and embellished with more leaves from the Ciao Chip stickers.

In the center, I cut 2 thin strips out of the McIntosh graph and dot to create a section for more embellishments. Then, I decorated it with lots of Letter Scramble alphabet stickers, the adorable My Life 365 puffy stickers, and more Ciao Chip stickers.

I created the album's shape with a Doodlebug cutting file called Truck - On the Farm. After tweaking it a bit, I sized it to 6x9 inches and cut the covers out of white acrylic. Then I decorated it with presents, toys, candy canes, gingerbread, and cute little elves. I even zhuzhed up the tires with some enamel dots! 

Inside the cover, I added a photo mat and took advantage of the fun shape by filling in the extra spots with more colorful die cuts. How cute is the reindeer and the Christmas tree headband on the little girl?! 💕

The album has 16 scrapbook pages that are 6.25 x 4.25 inches and include 2 pockets, 3 flippies, 2 fold-out pages, and space for 30 photos.  

It makes a perfect keepsake for memories of decorating a Christmas tree, baking cookies, wrapping presents, a visit with Santa, decorating gingerbread, a school or church event, light displays, a party with friends, family gatherings, a holiday play or concert, caroling, and Christmas day.

Check out this fun detail ... since the Santa's Toy Factory die cut was a larger size, I adhered only the bottom of it to the page and made a fun little holder out of it for my photo mat. Perfect!

NEW! Travel Memories Camera Shaped Mini Album Kit

Hi friends! It's time for a peek inside this week's new mini album kit that will be in my shop on Friday. It's an acrylic camera shaped scrapbook titled Travel Memories that has vibrant colors and cute travel images. It's such a fun and unique little keepsake (or gift idea!) for ANY type of vacation. Take a look ...

I designed this with the fabulous Bella Blvd, Time to Travel Collection, which ... I love! It has colorful images of cameras, luggage, airplanes, maps, flowers, cactus, skylines, palm trees, sunshine, and more! Plus, there are lots of fun patterns with hearts, stripes, and polka dots. Love, love, love!

I also used my Acrylic Camera Shaped Album in black. It's approx. 4.25 x 6.25 inches and has black card stock pages and a round acrylic "lens" piece on the cover.

Inside, there are 16 scrapbook pages that include 3 fold-out pages, 2 handy dandy pockets, 3 interactive flippies, and space for 30 memorable vacation photos.

This mini is wonderfully generic and can be used for any travel plans you have from visiting family, vacationing abroad, sight seeing in a city, a weekend getaway, a cruise, or a fun road trip to new parts of the country. 

You could use this as a travel journal and document the exciting places you've visited, the people you met, the interesting foods you tasted, and the new experiences you enjoyed.

Above, I added one of the map die cuts and gently scored it to accentuate the folded look it already had.

Veterans Day Wallet Shaped Mini Album with Lori Whitlock

Hello friends and Happy Veterans Day! Today is Lori Whitlock's November Blog Hop and my blog is the first stop on the hop. But be sure to visit Lori's site too because she has a sale and more great products for you! 

Veterans Day is an important holiday to honor, recognize, and thank all members of the US armed forces. I'm so grateful for our military and their families and the service and sacrifice they provide. For today's project, I made a patriotic wallet shaped scrapbook using Lori's cutting file called Wallet Mini Album (links below).

At 4x6 inches, this mini is a perfect size for photos of a veteran, a local parade, a ceremony, visiting a memorial, taking a veteran out to lunch, or volunteering at a VA hospital, nursing home, or organization.

To make it, I cut the base out of white card stock and used a mix of 6x6 and 12x12 pattern papers from the Doodlebug Design, Land That I Love Collection. On the cover, I added a This & That sticker from the Patriotic Picnic Collection and glued a tiny flat magnet underneath. 

Check out all the fun elements inside! There are 3 main sections that Lori filled with interactive flippies, pockets, and lots of space for photos and journaling.

The 2 little pockets on the left are so cute. I love the semicircle cutouts. I added a few cards, but you could also include small memorabilia like tickets to an event, dog tags, pins, stickers, or patches.

In the center, there are 2 tri-fold flippies. One unfolds up and the other down. On the front, I added a 3x4 flag card and the alphabet "Thank you" stickers.

Each of the flippies has 6 sections (or mats), giving you a total of 12 spaces for photos, embellishments, and journaling. Yessss! This mini actually holds more than you'd think!

Here's the top section stretched out. I layered lots of colorful papers and a die cut from the Odds & Ends.  

This is the bottom section. I can just imagine these flippies filled with special photos!

On the right, I added another This & That sticker from the Land That I Love Collection that bookends the one on the front cover.

Whether you make this mini album for yourself or create it for someone else as a gift, don't forget the clear Acrylic Display Stand!
