12x12 Butterfly Kisses Scrapbook Page Layout

Hi everyone! Today I'd like to share a recent double page layout that I made using Butterfly Kisses.  When this collection was introduced, I said what I always say ... this might be my favorite Doodlebug collection ever! LOL!  I just love it!  I'm a huge fan of flowers and butterflies, and the colors in this line are beautiful!  Pistachio and Bubblebum?  Yes please!!

I added a little bit of Bunny Hop to this spring inspired page too (the May Flowers sheet) but that gorgeous stripe, called Happy Thoughts, is Butterfly Kisses and so are all of those adorable Odds & Ends die cut pieces and that bold border across the top (Rainbows End).

For the first page, I wanted to use the die cuts to create a pretty scene below my pictures.  I used pop dots to make each of the flower and bird pieces pop off the page.

For the companion page, I carried the stripe across the bottom of the page, and added two more photo mats at the top.  The design is simple, but it keeps the focus on the photos and another adorable scene at the bottom.

How fun is that little door?!  It's on the cut apart card sheet called Garden Gingham.  And the adorable window is in the odds and ends pack.  The little bicycle looks like it's parked right out front, ready for a beautiful ride on a spring day.  Yes little frog, you can come too!

I turned the LOVE card into a little flippie so that I could get two more pictures on my page.  I just love how these two pages turned out!  I hope they inspire you to create something wonderful with Butterfly Kisses today! Until next time, happy crafting my friends!

Americana Summer Scrapbook Album Project Kit

Hello again friends!  I'm back to share my second new kit for this week!  Yesterday I introduced my first scrapbook project kit for this week here , and this is the second.  This project uses a brand new mini album by Simple Stories called Sn@p Simple chipboard binder.  It's a binder album with a white grid cover, 10 4x6" page protectors, and it measures 6.5 x 7".  I paired it with the gorgeous new collection from Carta Bella called Americana Summer.

I love the red, white, and blue colors in this album, but don't just think 4th of July! Although it's perfect for Independence Day, this album can be used for any summer memories, including BBQs, trips to a farm, a picnic, a nautical vacation, home with family and friends, anything!  Plus, you're sure to have photos this summer since the United States will be celebrating its Semiquincentennial—the 250th anniversary of the signing of the Declaration of Independence! 🇺🇸

The chipboard album comes with ten 4x6 plastic page protectors, but I wanted some larger, more substantial pages in the book so I included 8 cardstock pages.  Two of the pages are fold outs and two are pockets, and there are also 4 interactive flippies.  Lots of space for at least 35 photos!

Isn't the deep navy pretty with the red and lighter shades of blue?  The flowers are also beautiful and the sticker icons are perfect for this Americana summer theme.

So set your alarm on Friday morning so that you don't miss out on the two latest scrapbook album project kits!!  They both a so unique and different that I have a feeling both will selll quickly!

Have a wonderful rest of your week! and Happy crafting!!

Memories Together Scrapbook Album Kit with Bella Blvd

Happy Tuesday friends! I'm excited to be sharing my latest Bella Blvd Design Team Project today. I love this one so much, I decided to offer it as one of two new kits that will be available in my shop this Friday. I'll feature the second one here on the blog tomorrow, so be sure to stop by again to check that one out!

For this adorable mini album, I used the colorful Bella Blvd Documented Collection and a brand new Artsy Albums acrylic album! Well, kind of new ... my Acrylic Scallop Edge Album is super popular in the clear version, so ... this time, I created it in white! Look how fun the scallop edge looks with those colorful circles down the side!

This scrapbook album kit comes with pre-cut pattern paper and cardstock, ephemera icon die cuts, ribbon, and the acrylic cover. It has 12 layered card stock pages that include 2 fold out pages, 1 pocket, 3 flippies, and space for at least 24 photos.

The colors are bright, happy, and perfect for complimenting your everyday moments with friends or family, summer, spring, a celebration, a vacation, college life, outdoor adventures, and really anything!

And I've added lots of places to journal like the cute die cut above. It's from the Ephemera and makes a perfect spot for adding dates, names, locations, events, or a few notes!

You'll need a 1" circle punch for this project. It's for those fun circles going down the scallops on the side of the album.  It truly does make this mini unique, colorful, and one that you'll want to display for all to see.

And speaking of displaying ... don't forget to add my Acrylic Display Stand to your cart! It will make your shelf, desk, or table look extra cute!

Bella Blvd's Documented Collection is amazing! It's versatile and has a beautiful combination of colorful patterns, tone-on-tone solids, and adorable embellishments. This makes it a collection I go to time and time again.

Visit the shop this Friday to pick up your DIY Memories Together Scrapbook Album Kit, the Acrylic Display Stand, and maybe an extra white Acrylic Scallop Edge Album!  Remember, my scrapbook kits are perfect for traveling, packing for a crop, or assembling on a day when you lack a little creativity. Happy crafting everyone!!

I Love Summer Scrapbook Project Album kit

Happy Friday friends!  Today I added a brand new scrapbook album project kit to my shop!  This album kit is colorful, packed with summer fun, and sure to get you feeling groovy about the upcoming summer months!  I used the Echo Park Paper collection called Groovy Summer by Lori Whitlock and it is amazing!

The scrapbook album kit is packed with interactive pages, pockets, my signature flippies and perfect icons and patterns for all the summer vibes!  Don't you love the groovy little van?  It reminds me of a retro 1960's VW "beach bus".  I want one!  And I want the pink, and the flowers, and all the things painted on the sides!  Yes please!

Let's take a peek inside!

Here is one of the fold out pages, complete with flip-flops, sunshine, and adorable retro roller skates!  The colors in this collection are bright and happy ... just like summer should be!

This page actually has TWO flippies ... one that folds out and one that flips up so that you can add 3 photos on this one 6x8 page.  Lot's of space for beach, pool, popsicle, boom box memories!  And since everything in the kit is pre cut for you, you'll have so much fun putting it together!  No wondering whether you've cut the 12x12 sheet correctly ... we've made it easy!

This page has a fun pocket for tucking in a journaling card.  And I'm loving the pink background pattern and colorful retro flowers!  CUTE!

Peace, Love, and Cherries 🍒!  And the page to the right is a pocket!  Here are few fun ideas for memorabilia that you could tuck inside!
  • Travel Documents: Hotel key cards, boarding passes, and custom luggage tags from vacations.
  • Event Admission: Ticket stubs from concerts, baseball games, or outdoor movies.
  • Nature Finds: Pressed flowers or leaves from a summer garden, or small sand-filled vials and flat seashells.
  • Dining Memories: Coasters from beachfront cafes, sugar packets, or labels from summer treats like local fudge or ice cream

Well I hope this brand new scrapbook album project kit will be a groovy addition to your album collection!  I know you'll enjoy putting it together, and documenting this summer's (or a past summer's) special memories!

Happy crafting friends!

Adventure Awaits Acrylic Album with Bella Blvd

Hi friends! Happy Saturday!!  I'm back with another new project for this week.  I'm sharing my latest Bella Blvd Design team project and this one is super fun!  I was challenged to use the fabulous Time to Travel collection (LOVE! ❤️) but! I could only focus on three colors!  Yay!  This girl loves a good challenge, so I pulled out all of my Time to Travel product and decided on blue, aqua, and yellow ... or in Bella's world, blueberry, gulf, and bell pepper!! 📘🐬🌼

From the minute this collection was introduced, I fell in love!  I love a good travel line and this one is totally in my wheel house -- fabulous color, fun icons, amazing ephemera ... yes please! I wanted to showcase the patterns (but remember, I could only use three colors
😳) so I chose to use one of my acrylic albums called Acrylic Waterfall Album so that we could see the color combo.

I layered each of the pages with a pattern from the collection ... focusing my choices on the prints that were more blueberry, gulf, or bell pepperish (if you know, you know, lol).  On the page above, I covered the white cardstock with the In The Clouds print ... I could not love this more.  Do you see those tiny stars and dot clusters?  And that teeny pop of red?  Ssshhhhh!  I wasn't suppose to add another color 😳.

If you're familiar with my mini albums, you know I add pockets and flippies to every single one ... so here's a cute pocket, covered in the adorable Love This Place print and some ephmera icons popped on front and photo mats tucked inside.

Finally, I snuck in a pattern that was a little more colorful, but I think it totally works with this challenge.  Those adorable little icons from the On The Go sheet are too cute!  It might be my favorite sheet in the pack. Combined with some ephemera word and icon pieces, and I think my travel memories are ready for documenting!

I hope this project has given you a few fun ideas for saving your own travel memories with the Bella Time to Travel collection!

Happy crafting!!

NEW Scrapbook Page Kits for Winter and Spring!

Happy Friday friends!  Hopefully you saw my brand new winter page layout kit on Wednesday ... and today I'm introducing a second kit for this week! That's right! Two new 12x12 page kits are in the shop today and this second one is spring themed. I could not be more in love with the colors, patterns, and flowers in this one! Check it out!

So pretty right?  For this 6-page kit I used a combination of Doodlebug Butterfly Kisses and Bunny Hop.  I stuck to a spring theme, instead of Easter for this one, and chose papers from both collections, and Odds & Ends from Butterfly Kisses.

The die cut pieces in the Butterfly Kisses collection are so pretty!  Birds, flowers, bees, and so many sweet smiling faces.  These pages will be perfect for any sunshine, garden, family or friends spring memories!

On one of the pages, I added a cute little pocket.  Perfect for holding some tags for extra photos or journaling!

And it wouldn't be an Artsy Albums kit without a flippie!  So this pretty little card lifts up to reveal space for two photos.

Ooooo! Stripes and flowers! Yes please! These six pages have space for 25 photos and several journaling spots so you can document those warmer weather memories!

I just love this page with all of the adorable flowers, birds, butterflies, and that cute little frog!  I can't wait to save pictures of my grandkids on this page!

Well, be sure to visit the shop today before my new kits sell out!  I always get requests for 12x12 kits so today you get two! Happy crafting my friends!

Acrylic Sunny Spring Album with Doodlebug

Hello friends! Happy spring!  Despite the pollen, I'm loving everything about this change in seasons and the beautiful flowers are my favorite part!  That may be one reason I was inspired to add lots of pretty flowers to the cover of my latest acrylic mini.

For this album, I used the Bunny Hop collection and one of my Artsy Albums acrylic albums.  This is my tabbed album and all of the pages are clear, so it was perfect for layering all of the Bunny Hop prints and die cuts.  For the cover, I added some floral pieces from the Bits and Pieces and topped them with shape sprinkles called Hello Spring.  Look at the pretty shine in the photo below!

I love the Hello Sunshine doodle-pops so it deserved a spot front and center on the cover! Doesn't that little smiling face just make you happy?

The photo above allows you to see all of the pretty layered prints on the clear pages. The photo below shows how I layered the bubblegum pink side of the May Flowers sheet with the adorable dot print called Spot of Spring.  A few odds & ends die cuts finish up the page and look so sweet next to the colorful photo mat.

My favorite sheet in this collection is the May Flowers print, so I cut a larger piece for the next page and layered another Spot of Spring photo mat on top.  The tab sticker from the This and That stickers adds a pop of bright bubblegum pink to the page, and I just love that basket of flowers.  I want to find one just like it for my house!

I included a sheet of Lily white wood grain petite prints on the next page so that I would have a neutral base for more flowers and the adorable journaling card.  I made the card a flippie so it actually lifts up to reveal 2 photo mats underneath.  That cute sunshine is an icon sticker!

To take advantage of the clear pages, I only added photo mats to the next page.  The same size photo mats are on the back of this page so that you can see the prints on the last page showing through.  Each of the tabs also has a sticker from the This and That sheet to add fun color across the top of the album.

Well I hope all of these pretty colors, sunshiny embellishments, and beautiful flowers have inspired you to create something pretty with Bunny Hop today!

Until next time, happy crafting!

NEW!! 12x12 Winter Snow Page Kit

Hey everyone!  Today I'm sharing a sneak peek of a new 12x12 page layout kit that will be in my shop on Friday!  I know that it's springtime, but something tells me you still have winter memories to document!  These pretty pages will be perfect for snow, travel, skiing, mittens, snowmen, and any other freezin' season pictures you have!

This 6-page DIY scrapbook album kit was designed with both Bella Blvd and Doodlebug product.  The paper and Ephemera icons are Snowflake Season by Bella, and the Chit Chat and stickers are Doodlebug Winter Wonderland.

The kit has 6 pages, 3 coordinating double page layouts and space for 30 photos!  Each page is designed to focus on the photos, but incorporates the beautiful colors and patterns in Bella's Snowflake Season collection.

With a few Doodlebug accents thrown in, the colors in these lines work together perfectly and will highlight all of your winter, snowman, snowflake falling, skiing, bundled up baby photos and more!

Do you have a picture of the first snowfall of the season and how pretty the powdery white looked on your house?  How about photos from some of these fun memories:
  • a winter vacation, a mountain cabin, an Alaskan cruise, or a weekend in the city
  • snow covered landscapes
  • a crisp winter hike
  • fun in the snow, building a snowman, or making snow angels
  • a winter family photo shoot
  • skiing, sledding, snowboarding, tubing, or ice skating
  • a cozy afternoon scrapping with friends
  • playing games with the littles
  • an afternoon of baking
  • a backyard bonfire with s'mores
  • a special event like a birthday, wedding, anniversary, or holiday
  • and simple everyday moments with family and friends

I will have a limited supply of these so if you want one, set your alarm on Friday morning as I won't be able to restock these!

Happy crafting my friends!!
