BEE-utiful Memories Circle Scrapbook Album

Hi ladies! Today is World Bee Day ... a day to raise awareness about the important role bees play in sustaining the human food supply and biodiversity. Did you know bees aid in the reproduction of over 75% of the world's flowering plants and crops globally? That's amazing! So, let's celebrate them with a new mini album filled with flowers and these cute little pollinators! 🐝🌼

I knew I had the perfect supplies for this scrapbook in my stash ... the Doodlebug Design, Bee Happy Collection! It's filled with adorable bumblebees, bee hives, flowers, fun polka dots, plaids, and stripes making this album great for almost any photo memory.

To start, I wanted something new so I cut my Acrylic Circle Petal Album out of black acrylic instead of white. I'm so glad I did because I love it, and now this color is available in my shop too!

This acrylic album includes two 7.25" circular shaped covers and 1 binding ring. The album does not come with pages, BUT you can easily use circle cutter, a Silhouette or Cricut machine, or one of the covers as a template to trace and cut as many pages as you'd like.

To decorate the cover, I cut out a 4" circle in the tiny flowers print called Honey Bees. Then, I layered the This & That scalloped circle bee sticker and "memories" sticker on top. How cute!

Inside of the cover, I added another a 4" circle but this time I used the Petite Prints Plaid & Polka Dot paper in pistachio. Then, I decorated with some adorable die cuts from All The Things (product links below).

For the pages, I cut five 7.25" circles out of black cardstock using a circle cutter. Since this first page shows through the cover, I punched eight 2" circles out of pretty patterned papers and adhered them just behind the petal shaped cutouts. Then, I layered two round 3.75" and 3.5" mats in the center.

For all the other pages, I covered the black card stock with 7" circles cut from patterned papers, then decorated with a variety of photo mats, fun die cuts, and cute stickers.

This unique little scrapbook was so much fun!! I know I say that every time I make something with a Doodlebug collection, but I can't help it! I love their happy colors and cute, smiling images! 😍

Check out this little pocket page. To make it, I simply cut a 7" black circle in half and adhered it to the page. I embellished with the This & That scalloped border sticker, more die cuts, and some teeny tiny enamel dots from the Bee Happy Shape Sprinkles. The 4x4 cards are great for journaling or photos.

This mini album is so versatile and can be used for photos of family, spring, friends, Easter, baby, Mother's Day, summer, birthdays, a bridal or baby shower, a graduation, and fun everyday moments! It would also make a sweet handmade gift.

Every Artsy Albums mini has to have at least one flippie, so I made this one with another cute 4x4 card. It's perfect for 2 pictures of any special memory.

Here, I created another pocket but this one has a photo mat on the front. Add extra pics, small memorabilia, or cute tags like the ones above. They're from the 12x12 Sweet As Honey paper and look so pretty tied with a bit of ribbon or twine.

I hope you like my BEE-utiful Memories Mini Album. I can't wait to add my own photos to it. If you'd like to recreate this for yourself, you can now find my Acrylic Circle Petal Album in black and white in my shop.

Don't forget my clear Acrylic Display Stand. It's perfect for showing off your minis ... especially those fun shapes that don't always want to stand up on their own.
