New Year everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful and safe evening last night. It's officially 2023 and I'm so excited about what's ahead ... starting with my new Hive Membership! If you haven't checked it out, please do! It's super fun and you'll "bee" a part of a creative and inspiring group of people.
Today, I'm sharing a festive 12x12 scrapbook page I made with pictures of me and my crazy hubs, Jack.
I started by layering sheets of 12x12 Bazzill card stock in black (Raven), gold foil, and white. I also dug through my stash and found the fun confetti print. It's an oldie but a goodie from Doodlebug's Hats Off Collection and it's called Party Hearty.
I added some gold gems by BoBunny in the corner and the "Celebrate" die cut piece that's from the PinkFresh Foiled Sentiments made exclusively for Scrapbook.com.
I used a cutting file for the "2023 Happy New Year". It's by Planeta Silhouette and it's called Happy New Year. I found it in the Silhouette Design Store and added the link for it below. It's kind of hard to see in the photos but it's half black and half gold foil. Pretty!
For the fireworks shape, I used a second cutting file. This one is by Bella Blvd and it's called Firework. I cut it out of the Bazzill gold foil paper and sprinkled more gold gems around it to really make it sparkle!
I matted our photo with more black card stock and a gold and white striped paper from Doodlebug's Hello Collection called Good As Gold. The gold "You and Me" die cut piece is from the Pink Fresh Good Times Ephemera (link below).
Here's another view to see the metallic gold accents. I just needed to get the right angle, lol!
