Hey friends! Recently, I found a Halloween album in my collection that I made back in 2012 and thought I'd share it. It was a long time ago but this cute vintage style scrapbook feels like I could have made it today! It was a kit ... any of you have this oldie-but-goodie mini in your Artsy Albums collection?
I created this with a collection from October Afternoon called Witch Hazel. Anyone remember this manufacturer? They were one of my favorites back in the day and I love this collection.
The paper and embellishments have a cool retro vibe with a fabulous witch, black cats, pumpkins, bats, spiders, owls, polka dots, and stars.
Although I don't do this anymore (why, I'm not sure ... I should!), I used to make my own cute embellishments by stamping in my albums. The spider in the round label sticker is actually a stamp. I wish I could remember the manufacturer ... it's so cute!
Here are a few more examples of where I stamped images in my album. I think they made a plain journaling spot really cute!
Unfortunately, I didn't save the packaging for my stamp set. If anyone knows of the manufacturer and name of the set, let me know and I'll update the information here.
Isn't this collection fun? I wish I could find something similar now with the same retro-vibe.
Well, I hope you enjoyed taking a peek into one of my older projects. I think it's fun to look back and remember a technique, style, or paper company. Maybe I'll post some other throw-back projects in the future. Until then, happy crafting everyone! 😊
Cute album!
